The 5'5 Point Guard from Etiwanda HS (CA) has Cal, Duke, Harvard, Illinois and Yale as her 5 Finalists as per Raoul.

Her factors in selecting a school?

"A good connection with the coaching staff, a nice area and a good education will be key in Aliyahna Morris' final decision for a landing spot".

She plans on three visits: Cal, Duke and Yale.

In her junior season for Etiwanda, she averaged 16.1 points, 5.4 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 2.8 steals.

PG nick-named "Puff" Morris is a excellent leader for Etiwanda. I doubt that Cal has a shot as she is rumored to be leaning to Lindsay Gottieb & USC.

Did you read the beginning of the post?

USC did NOT make her top 5 schools. Nor are they on her visit list. We are!

Morris is tiny and I don't recall her being a great three-point shooter.

But she's a good point guard, a winner and used to playing at a high level.

The fact that the elite programs aren't after her, though, is a bit of a red flag.

SFCB72-I read the USC article when I did a search for miss Morris's nick-name. Yes-I did miss the fact that Troy has been eliminated. Evidently, Puff must be a top-notch student with two IVY League schools, Cal & Duke among her finalists. GO BEARS!

LeLani was not a great three point shooter when she arrived at Cal but she improved eve4ry yer after that and was quite good in the end.
