I block both Shocky and Schroeder, for very different reasons.

I'm the one that said Lola used to start her shot from the left side. Now it is straight ahead. I think she can score on the drive too. But she looks like she has accepted her role as a ball handler with good defensive presence, and can hit the three occasionally .

I fell off the wagon by responding to Shockey's usual negative post. In return he admonished me for not having graduated from Cal nor the intellect to understand the dismal situation of Cal's Athletic Administrators, along with Cal's WBB coaches shortcomings. So Be it, I'm back on the road to recovery abstaining from reading rude and crude posts. Thank-you to those giving good advice. GO BEARS vs. Auburn tomorrow......

One thing at a time. But Lola's progress this year indicates that she might also be able to develop a mid-range game in the future. We could use that from her also if it can be done.

The fact that she hit 3 out of 4 from three point land (all open looks) is basically the difference in last night's game. Last year it would have been 1 out of 4 at best - those 2 extra made 3-pointers covers the margin of victory.

I think someone may have mentioned here or at a game that Lola was indeed working with a shooting coach in the offseason perhaps from the Warriors.
