ann arbor, ur marketing philosophy is a decade out of date, the bears wuz in the ncca tournament last season & are still near the bottom of the acc in attendance...the bears could win the acc & it would not materially change the attendance metrics

sports attendance behaviors in today's fast paced multi optional market space go way beyond winning, the wbna valykries are setting attendance records across the bay without any championship trophies...there's a massive untapped attendance opportunity for this FUN program that is being 100% squandered by the arrogant & non innovative jennifer simon-o'neil who is hated by the cal donor base that has chancellor lyon's ears

3 cats, if the bears don't play the TWIN TOWERS at the same time they're gonna be outclassed in the majority of their acc games against well coached opponents, tryna protect sakima & naya is not really an option as the bears gotta play to win games (not protect against losing games)

the necessary outreach with a berkeley grad athletic director in the near future will include successful marketing/fan engagement with students & young alums, football season tix buyers who have never been to a wbb college game & the general bay area basketball fan who goes to wnba games...none of that is happening now with jenny's worthless bureaucratic just sending quickly deleted spam emails to existing fans

... charmin recruited tiny guards her first couple of seasons that couldn't defend anybody ...

Leilana McIntosh, Charmin's first small guard, was an excellent defensive player.

Have you asked Charmin about this?

^ stu, what would be the point of asking a career 29-68 conference record head coach re: a strategy that is resulting in arguably her most productive player only 9 minutes last game vs stanford??

agreed leilana wuz fabulous, small guards that can defend at a high level are unicorns

I looked for the full game on ACC Digital yesterday and found only the condensed game -- which was goofy, because you'd think it was going to be recap of the ebb and flow of the game, but rather it's just a bunch of highlights.

on my espn+ (if you have it), when I search California it shows up under replay as a 1:31 video

Fyi.

Stanford beat #22 Washington last night, 67-62, in Palo Alto. They outscored the Huskies, 25-12, in the 4th quarter. Sound familiar?

And thus we moved up from Net #69 to #66 without playing, thanks to Stanford...I guess...

SFCB72-I just reviewed the Stanford box score and their top scorer/rebounder, Nunu Agara, DNP against Washington.
