ESPN seems even more positive than me that Kristine Anigwe will be a primetime college post player (read item #2).

Kristine looked good overall. She blocked shots, executed a high-low pass for an assist, she rebounded and dribbled up court 2-3x, she's a strong offensive rebounder (especially on her own missed shots). Oh yes-she took a turnaround jump shot in the key from about 12 feet out and hit it. I was really impressed w/ that capability.

Anigwe will likely be the best post player at Cal since Devanei Hampton & Ashley Walker if not the best. All-star games are hard to evaluate because not tons of defense is played. It was impossible to tell how much "heart" the young lady possesses on the defensive boards. She looks like a very good athlete. She'll start next season in Reshanda Gray's spot. GO BEARS!

Glad you posted this article. I think the author is absolutely spot on. Anigwe appeared to me the best center on the floor. Had that kucklehead West coach started her and played her more minutes, her numbers and the fate of the West team could have been much improved. From what I saw she is the complete package and can do it all. She will thrive in Cal's up tempo game. Twice she took the rebound and was off to the races. Like Reshanda, she is a bear in traffic. She can pass, rebound, jump, and she has that quick explosion on her follow up shots. Once she gets with the S&C coach, watch out WBB! Also, love her attitude on the court. Plus, she gets a gold star for entering the dunk contest. Perfect Cal player in a position of need. Can hardly wait for 2015-16!
