    Wow, two years after Covid hit, schools and businesses were shut down, and more than a full year after a vaccine was developed and given EU, a NEW study comes out suggesting that maintaining a healthy weight can reduce the risk of serious disease from covid 19.     Yes, the CDC connected the dots for people in 2020:

    **I don't see a specific recommendation to go on a diet if you are overweight, but if a person was overweight and saw the CDC warning and didn't deduce that they should lose weight to reduce the risk of getting severely ill from COVID, well, that person was probably going to die flying a kite on the freeway anyway.
