When my generation was growing up we ate dirt, didn't have seatbelts or bike helmets, went to school in buildings full of asbestos, windmilled peanuts and got mumps, chicken pox and measles and it just made us meaner.

I'm not confident that the spawn of MAGA snowflakes can survive RFK Jr's public health policies. Oh well, sh@it happens, I suppose.

Your so-called "hysteria" had nothing to do with it. It was the fallacy that a true vaccine for a Coronavirus could ever exist with our current technology, and the human leadership's lies and draconian forced behavior that did it.

The minute local or federal governments started forcing a drug that wasn't ever going to actually be a true "vaccine", against a virus type that evolves so quickly down people's throats, you knew it would backfire against actual scientifically proven and effective vaccines.

People were talking like the COVID shots were going to kill them. It was hysteria. People need to take responsibility for their own bad opinions rather than always blaming the government.

Agreed. But we also need government officials to take responsibility for their own bad opinions and decisions too. When people like Fauci and Newsom go unpunished and show zero remorse, that doesn't inspire the masses to admit their own failings.

Remember the mandate that large employers force employees to get the jab? My entire company was working remotely. We were required to come into the office for a single day, but told we couldn't do that without proof of vaccination. The company paid for an entire software system to track who uploaded their proof of vaccination. There was zero business need to enter the building...but we did because the hand of government wanted us vac'd.

My kids - both young skinny athletes and and very healthy - could not return to school for an education when the school district ended online school without proof of the V.

Some don't believe the science of vaccines but other people remember the type of stuff I mentioned above and react accordingly.

Hope your kids did not have any side effects from the mRNA vaccines.

I don't think refusing measles vaccines is reacting accordingly to the above. It's reactionary hysteria. Also, those mandates are done now.
