I love how some peeps chime in on this thread "MIC BAD" (which it is) but don't have the spine (permission?) to say anything negative about Putin and his cronies who benefit similarly from the system they've created in Russia. It's precious.
How does Russia manage to outproduce all of NATO plus S. Korea and Japan by orders of magnitude with less that 1/10th of their combined military budgets??

Why is the development cost of the main modern Russian fighter program, the Su-57, 40 times lower than that of the F-35, with a better final product?

It's almost as if their MIC was efficiently run...
Same basic question with education. We spend more per student than anyone else but are consistently ranked @40th. Hmmm.

A quickie Google search says Russia graduates 450K engineering students every year, and we graduate 70K? I knew there was a big difference, not sure if this holds true.

Apparently spending on K-12 education is about 40% higher per child than the average for industrialized countries, but the delta is much higher for healthcare, about 100% more per capita than France, Belgium, Sweden, Australia, Canada etc.

UCSF and UC Davis are both building new $4 Billion medical high rises.

Forced is a strong word. They amplified the feelings for the regime change and then provided the means to do it.

The western Ukrainian ultranationalists and SS veterans have been funded since the 1950s by the US/NATO deep state, because they are the segment of Ukrainian society that hates the Russians and their own Russian minority, so an ideal tool against Russia.

https://fpif.org/seven-decades-nazi-collaboration-americas-dirty-little-ukraine-secret/

Once it became clear in the mid/late 00s that Putin wasn't going to play ball like his predecessor Yeltsin, the Ukraine project was stepped up to the tune of $5 billion in funds funneled through the USAID/NED network set up in Ukraine, which engineered and oversaw the Maidan color revolution in 2014 with Nuland hand-picking the new government. Several billions more in military aid were also spent in Ukraine, turning far-right soccer hooligans into paramilitary groups like Azov.

"Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said Friday he stands by his comments from Brussels earlier this week on it being unrealistic for Ukraine to be offered NATO membership as part of a settlement, for it to regain its pre-2014 territory, or for U.S. troops to enter the country to keep the peace. "

He's been criticized for giving away too much before the negotiations even started, but that statement accomplished two things, it enabled the negotiations to begin in earnest with the Russians, and it also puts pressure on the Russians to accept a plan with the current borders.

I am also now reading, again, allegations that Ukrainian President Zelenskyy is directly connected to the narcotics trade in Europe.

Given the C-As history, it adds another layer.

That's how he became a millionaire in the first place, before the billions from NATO started flowing.

Ukraine has been the European hub for all sorts of traffics for several decades now.

I stand corrected, looks like he was very big in Germany and the international boxing circuit earning well over 100 million euros from his boxing career alone. He came out from the Ukrainian underground before his boxing career and apparently stayed there afterwards...

The EU has really become soft Eurowennies. To allow... no, facilitate... hundreds of thousands of child r*pe victims... upwards of one million in the UK alone (one estimate) ... victims... often individual victims r*ped hundreds, thousands of times over years... then pimoed out, trafficked, tortured ... partially fueled by drugs, pornography, inbreeding and racism ... and look the other way... all in deference to multiculturalism and fear... it's so sick and baffling.

Are they still shell shocked from WWI and WWII? Then as the r*pe gangs started, they didn't want to be called racist... so they looked away... maybe some are bought off, others threatened. And the need for cheap labor.

They should have expelled all the radical clerics, all the illegals, closed the border and more. It would have been unpleasant. Now the elderly cower, the wealthy are moving out, and the middle and lower classes are targets in limbo.

Where are the Feminists, the American posers, Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, the Church of England? All neutered, bought off, drunk, or dreaming of retirement in Spain or Portugal?

All over Europe Ukranian govt officials are reportedly seen driving exotic cars, sporting multi-million-dollar yachts, and staying at the most expensive hotels. On top of that, shopping at exclusive stores, buying jewelry and watches.

Reports suggest the Ukraine military and govt officials are often living a life of opulence. Locals simply nod toward the vulgarity of it and say, "Ukraine." It's an open joke, and they are reviled.

Most Ukrainian government officials are considered vulgar, rude and cruel by commoners. The arrogance is palpable, like, say, Klitschko. This is what eye witnesses convey.

Just like the r*pe gangs, the MSM cowers or is bought off, so the reality is hidden and the game continues.

Cognitive dissonance? We used Ukraine as a proxy army in an unwinnable war and slaughtered one million Ukrainians. NATO is weaker, Russia is stronger, and the MIC likely has record profits.

Guardian: "...as concerns grew over Donald Trump's attempts to seize control of the Ukraine peace process.

"The Europeans' anxieties intensified on Saturday when Trump's special envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, said it was not realistic for Europe's leaders to be involved. "It may be like chalk on the blackboard, it may grate a little bit, but I am telling you something that is really quite honest," said Kellogg at the Munich conference.

"And to my European friends, I would say: 'Get into the debate, not by complaining that you might, yes or no, be at the table, but by coming up with concrete proposals, ideas, ramp up [defence] spending.'"

"Kellogg said he was working on "Trump time", and an agreement was expected in weeks and months.

"The US is also reported to have sent a letter to European states, asking what troops they are willing to supply to a peacekeeping force.

"One European diplomat said that "it appears Europe is going to be asked to police a deal that it had no direct hand in negotiating. In the meantime, Donald Trump is seeking to take 50% control of Ukraine's rare minerals".

Yahoo: " U.S. State Secretary Marco Rubio held a phone conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Feb. 15, just days after U.S. President Donald Trump spoke to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"Building on the Feb. 12 phone conversation between the presidents of Russia and the United States, the foreign ministers agreed to maintain a communication channel to address accumulated issues in Russian-American relations," a readout from the Russian Foreign Ministry read.

"This is aimed at removing the unilateral barriers inherited from the previous administration that hinder mutually beneficial trade, economic, and investment cooperation."

[…] Saudi Arabia will reportedly hold a summit between Trump and Putin in Riyadh, the Saudi Foreign Ministry said on Feb. 14, although the dates have not yet been finalized."

Europe has spent 150 Billion less than the US in Ukraine and the European money is in the form of a loan?
