The troops that want to surrender often can't, Ukrainian squads being staffed with banderist commissars.

It seems though that the Ukrainians sent in some of their better, more motivated troops into Kursk, including a contingent of NATO advisers. Dozens if not hundreds of NATO troops are trapped in the Kursk pocket, same situation as in Mariupol earlier in the war.

Talk about a high risk mission.

It is completely unreasonable to demand surrender as a condition of ceasefire. Ceasefires are meant to maintain the tactical status quo while giving the sides space to negotiate a long term solution. This is a laughably unserious offer by Putin. A normal response would be to threaten a substantial allied response which aids Ukraine by a date certain if that term isn't withdrawn and the ceasefire agreed to.

Do you want to wait for the ceasefire to begin after those trapped troops are killed?

Putin could ask for those troops to retreat beyond a particular line. Or they could retain existing positions with no reinforcements/ resupply allowed.

Neither are practical in a cease fire. Those troops are trapped behind enemy lines. The first option would be a Russian concession that would require a NATO concession. The second option is silly.

Credible sources say the whole "they are surrounded" is agitprop. Coming from verified third party sources.

90% of the Kursk expeditionary force is already dead, the remaining 7,000, including many NATO officers, are now trapped. That is why Trump pleaded Putin to spare their lives.

There is a time to fight
A time to grift
A time to do lines
And a time to say bye bye

The latter has superceded the former
The Walls are closing in
The pawns are resting forever
The Natives are restless for peace

Your daughter's are taking up with men from far away lands
Your planned conscripts are fighting back
Europe a toothless consiglieri
The Merchants of War have no answers

The Power Brokers are at hand
The Emissaries are top notch
Yet the Globalists seek more blood
It is time to say bye bye

Funny how you decided to use that tweet when it has context at the bottom that states that the tweeted front page from the Hull Daily Mail is a fake. Sure enough, if you follow the provided link, there's nothing about Kursk or Ukraine on the real Hull Daily Mail front page. Odd choice. I've never even heard of the Hull Daily Mail before. Then again, you posted fake magazine covers to prove there was some 1970s cabal about global cooling that somehow therefore invalidated the evidence about global warming. You're nothing if not consistent.

70,000 is a good estimate of the Ukrainian losses in the ill-fated Kursk offensive, so what was surprising here is that this fact would be published in a British paper, not the figure itself. If the cover is in fact not real, the statement in that cover is.

Russia is in a significantly stronger position than three years ago, and Zenensky won't compromise and seems scatter-brained.

I believe Scott Ritter said Zelensky will be gone in two weeks. We'll see.

If the war drags on, do Ukrainians in America return home? Does Russia take Odessa?

You mean the SAME Scott Ritter that is a regular contributor to RT and Sputnik?

The same Scott Ritter that was convicted of several criminal offenses after engaging in sexually explicit online activity (exposing himself) with a police officer who was posing as a 15 year old girl?

You mean THAT Scott Ritter?

Yes, we've already covered the likely C-A targeting of Ritter before.

The same men, Ritter, and MacGregor, that predicted hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians would be killed in our unwinnable proxy war. That the longer the war dragged on, the more land Ukraine would lose.

He must be a real genius to have "forecasted" this.
Must be why he always appears on RT and Sputnik.

Simply amazing!

MacGregor is a military expert and an independent voice who has no problem criticizing Trump and his policies. He's not that popular among the Fox/neocon circles.

Funny how you go on and on about Muslim grooming gangs and Muslim "gang ra*e", but you're OK with Scott Ritter exposing himself to what he thought was a 15 year old girl. It shows that your outrage is more politically based than it is based on morality.

That is sick, but I assume Ritter served his time since that online incident happened 16 years ago. Hopefully, he is reformed.
