Some pro-Russian sources are claiming there are some Ukrainian military barracks near the hospital, but the Russians may have deliberately struck that hospital because there was a high number of Ukrainian soldiers from the Kursk offensive being treated there, which of course would be a war crime.


In other news, it looks like the Trump administration is very serious and committed to bring the war to an end, they have thrown a lot of concessions to the Russians in the latest rounds. The odds of the war ending soon are now significantly higher than earlier this month.

Trump and his team are on board with the main Russian conditions for peace, basically an "Istanbul Plus", fairly close to what the Ukrainians themselves agreed to 2 months into the war at the Istanbul peace talks before Boris Johnson and co egged them on to keep fighting and scrap that deal.

Putin is basically saying to Ukraine and EU backers, take the Istanbul Plus today, or we're going to keep going and annex the rest of "Novorossiya", the historically Russian 40% of present Ukraine (includes Odessa, Kharkov, Dnipro etc).

We'll see how it goes and of course I hope there can be peace. But I suspect this is headed towards the conclusion that, in fact, the annoying libs were right about Putin and he doesn't want peace.
