The Irish detest Trump, whether they express it on a piece of toilet paper or in a White Paper.
Recent Pew Research Center surveys, conducted in 2025 across 24 countries, reveal the following:
Low confidence overall:
A median of 34% of adults expressed confidence in Trump to handle world affairs, while 62% had little or no confidence.
Widespread negative ratings: Views of Trump were negative in 19 of the 24 countries surveyed.
Mixed perceptions of strength: While a median of 80% associated him with "arrogant" and about two-thirds considered him "dangerous," majorities in 18 countries also described him as a "strong leader.

*BTW, the Irish Star's Medium Credibility rating is something the sources cited by BI MAGAs should aspire to.
And yet look at that, Trump is handling world affairs. Here's to the Irish.
Ireland is also a terribly skewed choice for your argument, there is almost no real right wing to speak of there. Fine Gael claims to be center-right but have shifted more and more left over the years. Of course a country with left dominated politics and media would largely see Trump as unfavorable.
