It depends on class, middle or upper middle class Haitians are straight up Catholics, their proportion is small in Haiti, but larger among the diaspora in NY/NJ, Miami and Montreal. The masses tend to be more inclined towards that blend of voodoo with some Christian accents.

People in the slums of Port-au-Prince and other cities do eat cats, mainly out of necessity (but also use them for voodoo rites), the same way people in Cambodia eat tarantulas. That habit came about during the Khmer Rouge years when the population was starved, and perdured afterwards as people developed a taste for grilled spiders. It could be the same thing for the recently arrived Haitian. Dogs on the other hand are commonly consumed in many countries across east Asia and parts of Africa, a lot more common.

I spoke to a woman today who lived in Haiti for a year and is married to a Haitian. She says that Haitians are scared of cats and dogs and think they are witches and no way they are eating the cats and dogs (maybe to the ducks and geese).

I believe people first with direct involvement, then social media which has a lot of fake stuff, then msm which is pure propaganda.

That being said she has not been in Springfield. Lots of residents posting about first hand accounts of pet eating. I was convinced it was real and now believe either is true. It doesn't matter because the issue is not important. If true it doesn't warrant bomb threats to schools.


It's nothing compared to the radical left trying to control all speech world wide and to remove all borders worldwide.

If you have national pride vote Trump. If you believe the UN/WEF lies and want to eat bugs, own nothing and let Bill Gates and Schwab dictate everything you do then vote kamala

Well, in this election cycle he said shoplifters should be shot in the stores, anyone that criticizes his SCOTUS should be punished, 60 Minutes should be taken off the air for the Kamala Harris interview, his critics and political enemies should be punished, federal troops should be called out if there are protests after he wins the election and military tribunals should be used to dole out justice to his enemies.

Pretty much sounds like a man that takes exception to the liberties granted to the citizenry, including his critics and political enemies, under the Constitution of the United States of America. If that doesn't sound like a man who hates America, what it stands for, and what our soldiers (who he also has contempt for) have fought and died for, then I don't what does.
