She's an incredibly weak candidate.
So far it doesn't seem that way.
She's 50-50 with Trump who is a terribly flawed candidate. Her campaign has been a disaster by any traditional metric (i.e., she can't formulate a cogent argument and has dodged any venue that isn't completely friendly). She's an awful retail politician. She couldn't get a single vote in the 2020 primary.
Please feel free to make your case as to why she's an average or better candidate. Note that 'she's not Trump" is not an answer to that question.
She came in with a big deficit dug by Biden and has fought the election to an effective draw within a few months.
This is really not hard yet you can't bring yourself to admit any fact harmful to your tribe, no matter how obvious.
If the dems had a competent and likeable candidate running against Trump, they'd be winning 55%-45% (maybe more).
If the republicans had a competent and likeable candidate running against Harris, they'd be winning 55%-45% (maybe more).
In a battle of two bad choices, its 50-50. That doesn't make Harris a strong candidate. Only a weak candidate would be 50-50 with Trump.
