I don't see a whole bunch of people lining up and clamoring to be perceived as anti-farmer (anti aid). The issue here is this was soooooo avoidable. The fact that it was some of his most stalwart advocates that got burnt was, well predictable

Not much of anything makes EVERYTHING better. I am hardly anti-Tariff, but I don't like the Trump administration's Tariff aggressiveness and flip flopping.

We needed the revenues and Tariffs, but don't worry, Congress will spend more money we don't have on things we don't need greasing the wheels for NGOs and Lobbyists.

Yep. More than once I argued with Diablo heading into the '24 election saying I didn't believe the official inflation number or that the official stats weren't what people were living. Maybe the prior post didn't read like it but I'm saying the same thing now - doesn't matter what official numbers are, being about the same isn't good enough, etc.
