Yeah, but if I don't resign I'll likely keep working until I decide to retire and get many multiples of 8 months pay. I'll also still have my other benefits and if I do get RIFed, I'll still have unemployment benefits.

There's not a single word in the email about benefits. I'm not going to take their word for anything that isn't in writing and very specific and detailed. Frankly, I have my doubts that replying to an email with "Resign" is legally binding anyway.

I've been wondering what the very amateurish mass emails we've gotten in the last week from OPM were about. Now I know. They looked like phishing emails ("Please reply with Yes if you received this") and I just deleted them.

Barbaric. Detransitioner Chloe Cole is suing Kaiser for $75 Million, and there have been big lawsuits in the UK.

I followed Dr. Rene Richard's story when young, and it wasn't a flippant, quickly rushed procedure. One professional on the Ms. Cole transition put up a warning flag, and was immediately removed from her case. No Bueno. I'm sure that individual will loom large in the lawsuit. Apparently coming off the hormone blockers is treacherous, and she also had a double mastectomy at 15. Very sad. She's a sharp young lady who is worried she can't bear children. What kind of idiot monsters push this on young teenagers?

Obama and Co had years to prepare, and when DDay hit the ObamaCare website ground to a halt even though they had spent about $500 Million. Today it's at over $2 Billion.

I spoke to two bright techies at the time, one a medical doctor and inventor, and they both said they could launch a successful site for $5 Million. It was replete w design flaws, and only handled a fraction of what Amazon had managed two decades prior.

Believe, those thoughts crossed my mind too. I wouldn't trust him to honor the buyout. Even if I was tempted by the buyout, I wouldn't accept it as it stands due to the almost non-existent details about how it would work. From a closer reading, it actually appears that you would be agreeing to keep working until September and then resign.

In your original post, you mentioned "Trump's bad policy", implying his policy was to shut down Medicaid portals. Nothing could be further from the truth.

I'm saying his order was so vaguely written that people in his own government could easily think that's what he meant . . . as evidenced by the fact that they shut down the portals and then posted a message that payment delays were due to the order.
