Believe, those thoughts crossed my mind too. I wouldn't trust him to honor the buyout. Even if I was tempted by the buyout, I wouldn't accept it as it stands due to the almost non-existent details about how it would work. From a closer reading, it actually appears that you would be agreeing to keep working until September and then resign.

Barron's Magazine is reporting today that the wording of the buy-out letter issued by the US Office of Personnel Management is remarkably similar to a letter sent by Elon Musk to Twitter employees in 2022.

Both letters were titled: A Fork in the Road.

I like the Middle better.
