That speech was absolutely tone deaf. Apparently one of the clowns ditched clown school and ended up in Munich giving a speech.
To the contrary, Vance's speech will go down as one of the most important in modern history.
It's highly unlikely that anything Vance says in office will be remembered 10 years from now. However, speeches can be important for sheer stupidity as well as for eloquence and intelligence.

So you believe that the "attack on free speech is more dangerous than Russia or China"? I didn't know free speech had nuclear weapons.

I don't think police squads going door to door in Germany, UK and France arresting people for thought crimes is a good look. For all the misplaced exaggerations about going back to the 1930s, this is as close as we are getting to that.

I fear that Trump/Vance will be remembered like Churchill - as the loudest voices warning European elites against the dangers they faced, with those warnings ignored. The censorship regimes in Europe are the biggest threat to freedom and the NATO alliance since the fall of the Soviet Union.

It will be interesting to see if the European people (sheeple?) accept the authoritarian regimes.

"I fear that Trump/Vance will be remembered like Churchill.."

I fear Trump spends more time thinking he will be remembered as the Second Coming:

….and Vance spends his time thinking he doesn't want to be remembered as the VP that successfully got hung by Trump's supporters:

I get that it happened on his watch, so he gets credit for it. I guess.

Thing is: if Trump gave a damn about it, he'd be touting it all the time. I suspect this happened without his knowledge. Not that this is a bad thing. He is much like Biden, incapable of managing the job he has been given. Smart people do the hard stuff. Trump just poses for the photo op and waits for the checks to clear.

Are you this uninformed, TDS, or dim?

President Trump had a presser in the Oval with victims of abuse and trafficking. He was proud if it, and of saving young girls. He also has had numerous events w Angel Moms.

You attempt to discredit Trump, but don't ask why didn't Obama shut it down?

[He is much like Biden, incapable of managing the job he has been given.]

Why is President Trump having so much success now? He and his team had to navigate around the DOJ, FBI, IC, MSM, etc.

They took no GSA IT help during the transition - to prevent spying and subterfuge.

Reworking Obama's funded and authorized DOGE - to get to work finding waste.

Many other moves I won't explain.

Can't help but noticing: It seems like 50% of the US Presidents who you criticize are Black... and yet only slightly above 2% of our total number of Presidents have been Black. Huge disparity! Can you explain that?

If Trump didn't move his head, if Elon wasn't forced to buy Twitter after first backing out, the federal government would be coming after everyone on the right and make J6 seem like a distant memory for them.

There are no winners in a war against nuclear powers because mutual destruction is assured. But there are other ways to wage war including the war of information. The pen is mightier than the sword, indeed.

"Close to 15,000 houses have gone up for sale.

There has been a spike in searches for "RICO laws,"
"criminal defense attorneys," "statute of limitations," and
"offshore bank accounts."

"I would say it's safe to say there is a full blown panic in DC:

Previously, the DC housing market has been recession-proof, while those in NYC or SF did experience significant declines during economic downturns. This might be the first time in many decades such a decline happened in the DC market.

The sharp people got out quickly. With more potential mass layoffs coming, and whole departments possibly transferred out of DC, couldn't the market crater?

Even if FDR 2.0 is elected in 4 years, mass hiring unlikely for at least 6 years. And let's say Trump 2.0 gets us to a magical balanced budget - could the UniParty dramatically increase spending without consequences?

Related question: could we raise Trillions of dollars for debt reduction by selling off / leasing out Federal lands in the West? And could we specifically earmark said funds to pay off debt?

Germany is by far the most pernicious. They have banned all demonstrations concerning Gaza on the disingenuous grounds of "antisemitism." Not only has this trampled the rights of all Germans, it has resulted in Jews protesting the horrors of Israel being harassed, intimidated and even arrested to "protect Jews"
