Why did you respond to a post about a tweet stating that King Charles officially becomes the first reigning British king to visit the U.S. since 1939. It was an accurate statement. It didn't need further qualification by you that the successor to that king visited seven times during her reign.

So I gave your response all the regard it deserved.

The tweet Pac-10 posted is accurate but bull***** It is of the "flood the zone with bull****" variety because the statement is true but the context is dishonest. Pac-10's word are inaccurate and bull***** The post implies that something new and historical is happening in regards to Trump when all that has happened is that Britain's monarch was a Queen for a long time.

What should tequilla4kapp be doing differently? I am for being as laissez-faire as possible in situations like this.

The problem is that there are a few posters on OT who just go back and forth (and back and forth some more) over petty, stupid-ass s***. Then, they double down when they should just let it go. Then, there are few others who mostly post only links to stupid-ass social media crap of dubious credibility (that fits their political views).

I don't think these posters should be banned, but it's a shame they can't police themselves better.

King Charles continues his Moral Admonishment of Trump Tour at a White House dinner. He likens Trump's destruction of the White House East Wing to Britain's destruction of the White House in 1814. He also has a comeback to Trump's face (Trump recently said if it weren't for us, Britain would be speaking German), that if it weren't for Britain, Americans would be speaking French (Trump laughed but we all know his knowledge of the history there is zero)..

Trump speaks later and puts his ignorance on full display. He was told that Windsor Castle was built in 1070 by William the Conqueror. Trump clearly thinks William the Conqueror built the whole castle in 1070, clueless that these castles started small and were expanded over the centuries. Just a complete, embarrassing, dolt our country has chosen to represent us.

Embarrassing to be so overshadowed by a British monarch in our nation's 250th year.

The handshake bit with the cabinet is telling. Trump felt insecure, as he often does when he knows eyes are watching, and he didn't want to be standing behind Camilla in the photo op.

He has little ability to let other people shine.

I like how the Queen was just done after Trump cut in front of her. You don't get a 2nd chance to snub the Queen.

I'm not even a fan of the British royal family but I am a fan of wisdom and dignity. The contrast on display is vivid. King Charles has great speech writers, as you'd expect. Trump is a doofus.
