Iran announced the suspension of their next attack on Israel in order to preserve (?) negotiations with Trump. Saudi Arabia's somebody sent a kiss ass letter to Trump asking him to continue/complete his peace accords. Qatar is booting Hamas. Etc etc etc. The point being it will be different in the region because countries react differently to Trump's core policies. It's not gonna all be peaches and cream but there's some there there for the good.

I can't help but wonder if this is true as to Gaetz. I thinks its doubtful Gaetz can get confirmed.

But Trump probably wants the fight and views the end result as a no lose proposition. Gaetz is happy to end the ethics investigation and may be run again in Florida. And then Trump appoints his real choice who will seem better/moderate compared to Gaetz.

And for the record, I think Gaetz is a bad pick. He's an idiot and not bright. But if he is somehow confirmed, he will turn the DOJ upside down which is not necessarily a bad thing.
