No, you are wrong.

Matt got angry when guys like Bernie got forced out and more moderate Democrats got control of the party.

The sins and failings of Trump/MAGA as written about by Taibbi exponentially dwarf the sins and failings of the moderate Democrats as written about by Taibbi.

Matt does not believe in the lesser of two evils theory. He believes the only way to get the left leaning government he envisions is to hang moderate Democrats on a clothes line and let Trump/MAGAs beat us like a dirty carpet until we give in and let Taibbi's preferred leaders run the show.

So don't get misled, Taibbi and guys like Yogi will always believe that Trump and his supporters are quarter wits.

I'm glad the administration has seemingly changed course on this issue (likely in response to public pressure), after their initial move to shut down Medicaid payments.
