I don't know if the spending freeze on cards for maintenance is true, but I do know Government travel cards have had their credit limit reduced to $1. Mine has been though I'm not planning to travel anywhere anytime soon. However, we do have 3 people in our office that are away at training and they are having to use their own credit cards.
