40 years ago on my 13" TV:

Got kicked out of The Piper's "All you can eat" buffet in San Leandro (on Mac Blvd next to 580) in 1972 for eating too much with 4 O'Dowd classmates after a robust pot smoking session. When the manager came to our booth to give us the hook, we smartly pointed to the "All You Can Eat" sign by the buffet. The manager countered with "There is an implied rule of reasonableness in that offer" and he figured an hour of watching steak and chicken mountains disappear on our plates went well north of that. We left peacefully, stuffed and giggling.

Not many of those places left around. A friend from Cal married into the Brennan's hofbraw family 20+ years ago, apparently it's gone:

I found this today. I was at one of these BCT Dead concerts in 08/1972. I was 17. This is a high quality recording. The Dead were in their prime, fresh back from their Europe '72 Tour and playing really, really tight with Jerry and Weir in good voice. Bluetooth it on a decent sound system:
