I guess it's no longer the People's House. It's the house of Insurrectionists.
Thank You President Trump!
MAGA!

I agree with you. But let's be fair here. Biden just pardoned people who killed FBI and police officers. One doesn't absolve the other; both sets of pardons are distasteful to me.
Pardoned?
Or commuted their death sentence for life in prison instead?
Big difference. Do you even pay attention to such things?
Trump said on Jan 20 "pardon" when he should have said what I just said above. Changed death to life in prison.
Come on, Tequila!!
Here's the bottom line for me: commuting or pardoning people who commit violence against our LEOs is a very tough pill to swallow. Perhaps there are individual cases where significant circumstances for the individual are at play to justify it. But generally I find it distasteful and wrong minded. I don't especially like the recent actions of either of our Presidents on this front.
Trump trying to change the Constitution in order to carry out part of his agenda is more mainstream? Tariffs are a more mainstream policy? Pardoning felons who beat up police officers on national TV in broad daylight is more mainstream? That is fascinating polling.BearGoggles said:Neither Biden nor Trump is an admirable person or my preferred choice for president. I'm not crying. I'm celebrating the end of the Biden presidency. How are you doing today? LOL
So you celebrate when one president you can't stand is replaced by another president you can't stand? Weird.
So yes, I celebrate the departure of a horrible, incapacitated and corrupt President and his replacement by someone who is not quite as bad.

Anyway, I look forward to revisiting this matter in a couple of years. Since Trump's policies are so sound, you should have a field day at that point.
President Trump just pulled Fauci’s taxpayer funded security.

It's pretty sad when you get your jollies from the vindictiveness and acts of retribution of others. I'm not saying because of Fauci, just noting a frequent and repeating trend of your posting.bear2034 said:President Trump just pulled Fauci’s taxpayer funded security.

Fauci can pay for his own security. Records show that since 2022, taxpayers have spent $15M on Fauci's U.S. Marshals security detail.
BearGoggles said:Not just disgusting, but cowardly. If he was going to grant the pardons, he owes it to the public to explain his action and actually take questions to explain his rationale.tequila4kapp said:
Today's pardons are disgusting, hypocrisy at its highest. Biden goes down as the worst President ever, IMO.
The interesting thing is that with the pardons, the "pardonees" can no longer plead the fifth and/or decline to testify if subpoenaed. This arguably helps the republican investigations. And if they lie to the FBI, perjure themselves, or otherwise obstruct the investigations, they will be subject to new charges.
Matt Taibbi sits down with Tucker Carlson to discuss Joe Biden's pardons, Trumps declassification of documents as well as what Trump should investigate going forward. You do not want to miss this one folks. @mtaibbi @TuckerCarlson @TCNetwork https://t.co/WTWAlanAzO pic.twitter.com/HbgjTDWXqY
