He got elected for the simple reason that the Democratic Party has lost its way. The concepts that made the party viable, often great, have been abandoned.

You can attack the other party's candidate, by all means, but you should never, ever personally attack the opponent's presumed voters as a group, by calling them "dumb", or "stupid" or morons".

And you really should never, ever personally attack the undecided voter, by calling him or her "dumb", "stupid", or "morons". I ask you, is that intelligent? Are you honestly hoping for their votes? I doubt you will get those votes, if that is the way you treat people.

I listened to a lot of rhetoric in the last campaign, and Trump was merciless in trashing his opponent, as they were with him. That is politics. But I never heard him say anything negative about the intelligence of any voter. His rhetoric was aimed at the opposing candidate, not at his or her voters.

Americans in general have been known to have a sense of fair play, so there has to be a limit to how vicious you attack their candidate's opponent, or they will not cast their vote, or worse, they will cast it for the other side.

Right here on this forum, we have members whose rhetoric accused others of a lack of intelligence. One person in particular who answers nearly every post of a poser with an opposing political viewpoint with a single word, "Moron!" How many of his recipients of this message do you think he convinced to vote for Biden or Harris, or stay home?

This is very important. Trump won, in part, because many independents and members of your party either voted Trump or stayed home.

Democrats abandoned American blue collar workers for Globalists, and illegal immigrant labor (race card).

Democrats abandoned cheap energy, a staple of middle class life, for Green Dreams and Climate Change theories.

Democrats inject race into every topic when 90 - 95% of Americans are as welcoming, or more welcoming, than any nation on earth.

Democrats prioritized DEI and other identity politics over business and community basic building blocks.

Many of these issues were adopted by Ross Perot when he led in the polls before imploding. The UniParty feeds itself, but doesn't enact real change. Just more bureaucracy, more departments / NGOs, more family members hired, more kickbacks for votes, more 'programs' and loopholes for patronage.
