According to Yahoo News (not exactly a right wing rag) this year, Trump got 11 hostages freed in his first month.

In his first term as President, his administration claimed that they successfully freed 78 hostages, and there were many public celebrations when they came home.

In negotiations involving hostages, American Presidents never seem to get 100% of the hostages back, or get the ones they want the most, or get them back totally unharmed. But Trump does have a record of getting a good number back safely. Some negotiators may know better, or have a better record, but I think he has had enough success at this to know more than a little about how to go about it, and get some results.

Ironically, I was centering my chi at Lake Merritt today, having some sushi on a beautiful day, looking at the lovely gals, when a very tall trans woman within earshot discussed the early evolution of LSD with her deep baritone. There is also another psychedelic drug which is shorter acting, which she prefers, but I forget the name. Possibly 5-MeO-DMT. Only a 30-minute trip.

Wandered around Lakeshore, spotted a new promising place called Crazy Block Cheesecakes - which offers boutique cheesecakes, BBQ, and latkes. What a mixture. Looks like they were a very successful pop up. Smelled great, customers happy.
