Pacers led the playoffs in made 3's. That can be helpful in closing a gap….like a 14 point one in 3 minutes (Game 1 was 7 points in 3 minutes),
In their heyday, Steph and Klay did that a time or two.

It really has been some beautiful Basketball at the highest level.
That game last night was exceptional.

OKC closed last night's game on a 16-7 run, and SGA had all but one of those points while being hammered by defenders.
A very physical game!

OKC being uncharacteristically dismantled.
On a 7-minute scoring drought in Q3.

Shooting only 38%
6% from 3.

Indiana 73
OKC 50

How many million you reckon a Game 7 will generate? Asking for a friend.

Reggie Miller must be astatic. I still recall the Cheryl chant when we beat them in 86. Also, " Thanks for coming. We couldn't have done it without you"

NBA Finals history:

Although I was 12 at the time, I have no memory of Rick Barry's (then age 23) dominance in the Warriors' losing effort to Wilt's 76ers in the 1967 Finals:

Barry averaged 40.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 3.3 assists in the series. He had a 55 point Game 3. (YahooSportsAM)

I do, however, remember this SI cover:

GAME 7

25 - 22 OKC.

End of Q1.

HALLIBURTON looks to have re-injured his calf and is out.

Looks like an Achilles to me but who knows

Valiant effort by the Pacers but no shot makers on floor tonight

That Q3 was brutal for the Pacers with tons of turnovers and McConnell the only one scoring.

McConnell had one helluva series!

Pacers ran out of gas, and how could they not with Halliburton gone? Valiant effort but they were not the better team.

Had just read about how playing on a strained calf can lead to an Achilles. I guess people will speculate about not holding him out, but when it's the Finals, you just cross your fingers and hope for the best, especially when he made it through Game Six and only had one left to go.

Now he's likely to miss all of next season. Bummer for the Pacers.

That Warriors game against the Clippers was something, championship DNA they said. And it wasn't just Steph. but I like this guy's analysis on some of his plays.

Steph brought it but so did Dray, Kristaps, and Old Man Al. Santos had a heck of a game too

Steph didn't have it going tonight and there's nobody else picking him up on an off night. Hoping the Dubs can get lucky a move up in the lottery

Draymond, Butler, Porzygis, Horford. Too many old and injured guys.

Dray and Butler can still play. KP was looking good the last week or so with Steph back but KP is never healthy. Big Al had a great game within the last week but he's definitely old.

Too many expensive contracts for aging , less productive players, Curry included but he, of course, goes down with the ship
DiabloWags

The Dubs were the 3rd worst team in the League when it comes to turnovers, averaging 15.7 per game.

Last night, they did not disappoint with 21.

Warriors previously had a group of promising young players but they were all traded away I guess because they didn't look so promising anymore.

They were lying to themselves thinking that a team full of old guys was any threat to make serious playoff noise.

Yeah, if winning was their only goal, they would've blown up the core a few years ago and started fresh. I guess Steph Curry (and Draymond, to a far lesser extent) have earned the right to call the shots.

Almost impossible to blend the "two timelines", but if Wiseman and Kominga had worked out, maybe they coulda done it.
