Tim Curry makes an interesting Cardinal Richelieu, but the cast of the 1973 was very hard to top: Michael York (d'Artagnan), Oliver Reed (Athos), Richard Chamberlain (Aramis), Frank Finlay (Porthos), Charlton Heston (Cardinal Richelieu), Faye Dunaway (Milady de Winter), and Raquel Welch (Constance Bonacieux).

I just rewatched this and noticed how portly Reed was and thought how hard it would be to be an effective musketeer carrying all that bulk around. He was almost killed on set by a rogue sword blade during a fight scene. He ultimately died of a heart attack so word the wise stay healthy and avoid sword fights if possible Let's not forget Dunaway

It's amusing that you've been here for a week and feel that you know my opinions 2-6 years ago.

I never had more than lukewarm support for Biden. He was just the lesser evil compared to Trump. Frankly I would have preferred almost anyone under 65 for President (anyone with rational and logical views anyway). I was dismayed during the last year or two of Biden 's term when he was clearly declining and was hoping his staff was doing the heavy lifting.
