Put the Orange crack pipe down.

Youre a joke.

A letter was sent to the Speaker of the House and the President Pro Tempore of the Senate citing his authority as Commander in Chief and claiming compliance with the War Powers Resolution, which requires notification within 48 hours of military action.

Was the "Gang of 8" given the courtesy of a notification by President Chump?

Asking for a friend.

Now "the sky is falling, Iran can attack any day" was taken off the table, giving President Trump room to maneuver. The IC is trying to put him back in that box.

Meanwhile, the IC is still trying to remove Tulsi.
Part of me wonders what IC means in this context (probably not Integrated Circuit), but most of me says life is too short to worry about movielover's shorthand transcriptions.
"Intelligence Community" is my guess.

I find this humorous because when it suits Trump he would call the intelligence community part of the so called "deep state".

You know what deep state means?
It means anyone who has been in DC for a long time. And they are the enemy of Trump because he's new and at any rate doesn't want to adhere to any of the old ways. No norms. Nor rules. No conventions. As Marty Baron said, Trump wants to be the arbiter of facts regarding justice, social policy, interest rates, military and foreign relations - everything. He wants to walk in and have control of it all, and anything that gets in his way and he doesn't like he can simply call it the "deep state" to discredit it politically and attempt to take it over.

When he likes the intelligence community, it's HIS intelligence community.
When he doesn't like it, it's the so-called "deep state".
His followers are too stupid to get this brainwashing that he does.
No. The Deep State means career bureaucrats who disagree with the policies of this admin and who use their position and the access to information it enables to undermine the administration by things like leaking information deemed contradictory or damaging. It's people who put their own interests and beliefs ahead of their duty to serve.

An even better invention!!
A nebulous or imaginary foil that folks can point to as a way to simply shut out any difference in opinion.

In other words, experts that have studied a field for decades should shut up and let the poorly informed newcomers do whatever they want.
Yeah, like the 51 IC experts who were rounded up by the campaign manager to sign a statement about Hunter's laptop they knew was false.

This is so simple it's ludicrous. If you cannot abide by the policies of an admin you either work within the department to influence policy (advise re your area of expertise, and accept their decisions) or you resign. You do not actively work to undermine the administration by leaking info to members of the media who share your disdain for the admin.

I wonder if Hitler had a Deep State.

You are a thoughtful guy!
Which is why it ASTONISHES me that you don't get it. It's been explained again and again, no?

Rather me say it again, how about if we work together. Maybe then it'll sink in.

When you see photos of the rabid Nazis and the rabid MAGA hats at public gatherings, tell me what you see, what are they feeling. Any similarities?

When you consider the purpose of the UN, do you think Trump is a team player, of that mindset? Or is he his own guy who does his own thing? Maybe like someone else we knew?

Next, let's consider information. Burning of the books rally. What was that about? Do you think there is any effort by Trump to similarly shut up and shut out other voices?

Now, let's compare the attack on "the others". Nazis sent Jews and Gypsies and gays to the camps. Trump has made it his rallying cry to verbally attack foreigners, mentally disabled people, captured soldiers, and all things non-English. Do you see the comparison?

Please, answer these questions. We're only just getting started.

One does NOT need to put a continent to horror in order to be like Hitler. Dig a little, friend. Be an analyst. Be smart, intelligent.

So, if we are comparing…. 40 more attempts may not accomplish the intended outcome. It might require 41 more. 41+2=43.
Wouldn't it be ironic if the number was 45 or 47.

They allegedly copied the racist playbook of the Democrat KKK.

'shut down voices' It was the Left that banned Conservatives off of Twitter, Facebook, and controls the Legacy media.

Now, let's compare the attack on "the others". Nazis sent Jews and Gypsies and gays to the camps. Trump has made it his rallying cry to verbally attack foreigners, mentally disabled people, captured soldiers, and all things non-English. Do you see the comparison?

President Trump has sent zero individuals to camps. It's the Left that jailed granny and Jethro for walking around the Capitol in ugly gear. It was Democrat FDR who imprisoned Japanese Americans. Slave owners were Democrats. When the Pulse nightclub was shot up, candidate Trump immediately condemned the savage attack. I think Hillary condemned it 36 hours later? President Trump has numerous high-ranking gay Americans in his administration.

Your policies fail, so you have to use Saul Alinsky tactics.

Iran did a lot more damage to Israel than publicly acknowledged, up to 150,000 Israeli damage claims from Iranian missile bombings, and that is just the civilian damage. That is why there is a cease fire in place. The damage would have been a lot worse going forward as Israeli missile defense is depleting, allowing Iran to hit Israel with older, cheaper missiles and drone swarms.

This is the most informative presentation about the Iranian nuclear program I've seen, and the process for starting a nuclear program, by MIT prof Ted Postol.

According to Postol, the amount of enriched uranium known to be in possession by the Iranians is 550kg. Uranium is 19 times denser than water, so those 550kg of uranium represent a volume of about 8 gallons, good enough for about 10 nuclear bombs, material that can be shipped in the trunk of a car.

Trump didn't bother creating any camps, he just put a bunch of migrants into a foreign prison with no trial.

Qualitatively speaking this has been a definite escalation in loss of basic freedoms, First Amendment, habeas corpus, which started in earnest under the Patriot Act, Gitmo and the black hole network.

Yes, it's tough times for people who are here illegally, criminals, want to advocate for Hamas on a student visa, etc.
None of this warrants going directly to prison without a trial, does it?

The money sent to Iran was part of their own confiscated/frozen funds from decades ago.

You should worry about your taxpayer money funding further forever wars for Israel, beyond the trillions already spent this century.

I thought we just unfroze Iranian bank accounts and allowed Iran to recover their own money.
