The reason is Democrats are sick and tired of these weaklings, and neither can risk a Mamdani endorsement of any primary challenger.

I was right about Jeffries "caving" by ultimately endorsing Mamdani, but it looks as though I may have been wrong about "Cryin' Chuck" Schumer.

Democrat Green New Deal a disaster.
(Democrat GND burying Europe.)
Open borders an unmitigated disaster.
Illegal immigrants sapping sanctuary city budgets.
Crime rampant (despite misclassifying or not logging all of it) bc of Defund police / no cash bail.
Open drug bazaars (aka homeless) rampant.
Big Pharma dollars only go so far.

Between deportation and self deportation, if 10 million people leave, here would be some positive effects:

- millions of housing units open up
- rents would drop / inflation would drop
- hundreds of thousands of HUD and subsidized units would open for poor Americans
- ER waits would drop, medical access easier
- school scores and resources would proportionately rise
- millions of jobs would open up for blue collar workers, women, POC, veterans
