I don't believe that Israel was ever found guilty of systematic doping like Russia.
And Israel hasn't broken the Olympic Charter like Russia.

FWIW, there are only 13 Russian athletes cleared for competition to compete as AIN's.
This follows previous "non-Russian" federations like OAR and ROC.

There are a total of 40 Russian born athletes that are competing for other nations in Italy.

This flag hasn't been flown at an Olympics for nearly a decade.
Their systematic state sponsored govt doping was massive. They even manipulated computer data to sabotage investigations by WADA.

Bad way to end her career, but I guess she did it on her own terms.

She's not being forthright on her torn ACL not being a factor in running into the gate near the start while not even at high speed, I doubt that she, as a seasoned veteran, would have done that kind of error had she not been injured.

This being said, it's great that her injury did not look that bad, it could have been a lot worse considering her bindings didn't release.


USA-Canada W. hockey coming up in a couple of hours, always a good grudge match, and a preview of the gold medal game.
