Trump excused himself from his son's wedding, told Don Jr that he'll definitely go to the next one.

According to Scott Melker's account of their freshman year (around 1996):

Donald Trump arrived at the dorm room to take his son to a New York Yankees baseball game.Don Jr. opened the door wearing a Yankees baseball jersey.Melker claimed that the elder Trump, without saying a word, slapped his son across the face hard enough to knock him to the floor in front of his classmates.Trump then reportedly told him, "Put on a suit and meet me outside," before closing the door.
The New Yorker

Trump was cheating on Don Jr's mother Ivana while junior was a teen, that has got to leave some serious scars and spoil the relationship. Skipping a son's wedding is an incredibly dou**ey move.

Donald Trump's proposed Iran peace deal features significant overlap with Barack Obama's 2015 JCPOA framework, though key details remain in flux. While Trump promised a stronger agreement, recent negotiations mirror Obama's strategy by offering sanctions relief and adopting similar uranium enrichment moratorium levels.

Key Comparisons to the Obama-era Deal:
Enrichment Limits: Reports indicate the U.S. and Iran are haggling over a 12-to-15-year moratorium on nuclear enrichment. Once the ban expires, the deal would reportedly allow Iran to enrich uranium to 3.67%, which is the exact civilian-level standard established under the Obama-era agreement.

Sanctions Relief: Despite heavy criticisms of Obama's unfrozen funds during his first term, Trump's peace envoys are reportedly considering unblocking roughly $20 billion in frozen Iranian oil money in exchange for a ceasefire and a nuclear freeze.

Major Differences Under Negotiation:Initial Demands: Trump has pushed for a much stricter enrichment ban (up to 20 years) and a complete halt to the program rather than the heavily regulated civilian enrichment levels permitted under the JCPOA.

Context of Talks: Negotiations are currently taking place in the aftermath of a major U.S.-Israel military operation on Iranian infrastructure, which has severely diminished Iran's pre-war nuclear capability.

Public Relations: Trump's team remains highly motivated to ensure the final terms of the agreement are distinguishable enough to avoid domestic comparisons to the Obama-era policies Trump previously labeled "the worst deal ever".

There is nothing wrong with the agreement. The problem was that Iran was not abiding by the agreement and nobody did anything about it.

Iran's official military spokesperson Ibrahim Al-Fiqar shared this AI-generated image of Donald Trump bowing before Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei with the caption "The end.."

"Who actually believes anything Iran says? Lol"

Make the case for believing Trump even asking him for the time.

They're yanking Trumps chain by characterizing this deal as worse than Obama's JCPOA. Of course it's hard to tell how much free will Trump really has in this decision.

I'm convinced Obama's JCPOA is a better deal, and will be a better deal than anything that this fool can negotiate. He started all this nonsense, and they are going to bury him.

F that guy. And his administration.

Looking very likely that we're going to wind up with a "deal" that's about the same or worse than the JCPOA. Glad we spent all that money and killed people to wind up with that!

If President Donald J. Trump can free the Strait of Hormuz, we should allow him to run again in 2028! I haven't looked this up (or asked AI) but I'm pretty sure it would be the first time the Strait has been free since Abraham Lincoln (first republican President!) first discovered it in 1864!

President Trump will hopefully allow the Iranians to develop limited nuclear weapons (for self-defense). They can finance this when we lift the economic sanctions on them and also allow them to charge tolls for ships passing through the Strait!
