His free fall in the view of Hispanic men is just remarkable.

"Enten: 'Hispanic men on Trump -- in 2024 he won by 10 points. Look now where his net approval is -- minus 41 points! That is a 51 point switcheroo against the president ... these numbers are bonkers.'"

Did they grow tired of waiting for their DOGE check?
Or the tariff rebate check?

At this point, you have talked about this more than Trump ever did.

Why do you care?

Im not the one who failed to deliver like Trump.
But then again, Im not as gullible as the typical Trump fan boy. I never expected a DOGE check. Or a tariff check.

Trump and Bessent LIED.

I don't care but you clearly do because you cannot stop talking about it.

California became a blue state after Prop 187 consolidated Latino voters with Democrats. Will that occur nationally now?

You and I have a different definition of caring then. I'd say posting about it once a week would be caring about it. That's just me though.

I'll never understand it. Republicans are always worse on the economy, and they live to chip away at the social safety net. However, they are extremely adept at sticking to propaganda points and deceiving.

According to a YouGov/Economist Poll, more people disapprove than approve of Trump's job performance in 47 out of 50 states and in the District of Columbia. The three states where the majority of respondents still approve of the president are Wyoming (+14), Idaho (+9), and West Virginia (+6). Texas is at -22, Indiana at -24, South Carolina at -28 and Mississippi at -17 to mention a few red states.

Trump's net job approval is negative in all but three states

It's getting harder and harder for Trump fanboys to spin data like this and claim Trump is popular.

Poll responses are one thing, but people need to come out and vote in November... and Trump's not on the ballot.

We are right at the 6-month mark of the Iran War.

The financial markets are relatively happy that economic sanctions are taking place as opposed to "bomb them to smithereens" military action.

But for the American Consumer, this will continue to hurt.

Supposedly, Trump gets a kick out of Vance and Rubio (and others) vying to see who can be the biggest brown-noser. Anyway, not sure why an incumbent would endorse somebody to be his successor two years out. No reason to do it.

What I wonder is, what does Vance think about the fact that he has sold his soul. Does he have regrets? It doesn't matter, I suppose, but he's a smart guy and I'm curious what goes on in his head.

No reason to name a potential successor at all.

Sold his soul? Gonna have to elaborate on that one.

Supposedly according to some pundit I read somewhere, probably The Atlantic or PBS' Washington Week (same stuff).

Agree, no reason to endorse a potential successor at this point.

Sold his soul because Vance didn't used to be MAGA. Now, did he become MAGA because he "saw the light", or to advance his career? Many believe it was the latter. I have actually followed him fairly closely for awhile, We have some ties: I have visited and gotten to know people in his hometown of Middletown, OH. Before his time, I even once played in his high school gym. And my dad grew up in WV, close to Appalachia. I still have relatives there and have visited several times. Not that any of this makes me an expert on him, just that we have some things in common which has prompted me to learn about him.

Vance really impressed me during the VP debate. Super-smart and can think on his feet. It is because of everything I have written in this post that I wonder what he truly thinks about things. Just as one example, I'm pretty sure that, were he occupying the Top Job, we never would've attacked Iran. Just one example.

Vance is a smart guy, smart enough to know that he has to attach himself like a barnacle to someone else who will help advance his political career because he doesn't have all that much charisma himself.

Can you explain what that has to do with charisma? Trump has charisma out the ass and he blames Biden, rightly and wrongly, for things.

I'm not so sure that is true. Look back to his debate vs Walz, as Big C mentioned. Walz is seen as very charismatic and likable yet many independents swung towards Trump because of Vance's debate performance.
