I said it before the 2024 presidential election and I'll say it again now - the Dem party needs appeal to centrist voters and quit moving left. They would win a lot more by killing the DSA faction of the party (they aren't even D's anyway) and just being "normal" on social issues.

History tells us D's will prevail this mid term. If they somehow don't or if they take control but miss their chance at a blue wave it's because they aren't giving the average person - not the folks who live in Marin county, NY and Los Angeles - palatable options.
