Yet, the list of unfinished business is overwhelming.

A reconciliation bill.
Appropriations, annual defense policy legislation,
An Iran supplemental finding bill. FISA, permitting, online safety, aviation reform, farm and highway bills, etc.

Every item is mired in internal arguments over priorities and strategy.

Trump's time is splintered between a war and dozens of competing domestic demands and pet objectives.

Congress is crying out for a dedicated White House ambassador - - - someone who can trusted to speak for the President, to yea or nay ideas, to shuttle proposals, to wrangle rebels in line.

Where is Vice President Vance?

He's promoting a book.

Before this gets weird, the reason I don't think your wife has me on ignore is that I don't think she goes on BI, at least not on the OT forum. So she probably doesn't have anybody on ignore.

I was just kidding. She has little, if any, interest in college football, other than mentioning once that if she rooted for any team, it would be Texas since her parents graduated from there. I still love her anyway. Especially since she doesn't laugh at my Cal devotion. We don't mention Mack Brown though. I'm not sure if she even knows about Bear Insider, so she doesn't have anybody on ignore.

We used to watch 49ers games and that's her team, but she's drifted away from watching games in the last 6-8 years, though she's still interested when I tell her how the team is doing.
