Palestinians have a right to exist (see, that isn't hard). And they do exist - 80% of Jordan is Palestinian and they live peacefully next to Israel; 20% of Israel's population is Palestinian / Muslim and they generally thrive.

rather than argue the merits of anything I say about Israel / Gaza let's get back to the point - the DSA nominates people who cannot even answer the question, which means their answer is No for Israel existing, which means they are anti-Semite candidates.

I note you have slyly, subtly, or other of course changed the original question and comment from Israel's right to exist and Palestine's right to exist to Israelis and Palestinians. Do you agree Palestine has a right to exist or just Palestinians?

Huge surprise those same Palestinians are impossible to deal with in Gaza. They refuse to accept Israel's right to exist, have it in their Constitution to kill Jews and make a two state solution impossible.

Both your argument here and Wife's above are mostly based on a combination of ignorance of basic facts and outright racism, perhaps the result of a lifetime of propaganda on this subject, the zionist narrative being by far the dominant one across US media and culture.

You ignore basic facts like half the Israeli population wanting to exterminate every man, woman and child in Gaza.


Only about 1.6M Palestinians live in Israel proper, and they have second class status, banned from owning homes or living in many parts of the country, forbidden from marrying Palestinians who are not Israeli citizens, though their lot is orders of magnitude better than the 5.5M Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza, with the former being subject to constant bloody pogroms, repression and expropriations, while the latter are being straight up genocided through bombings, deliberate and systematic destruction of all infrastructure and outright starvation.

You are saying essentially that the Palestinians are garbage here.

You could probably find the same type of discourse in western Europe and N. America about Jewish refugees in the 1930s.

The main problem in Palestine is that you have an entire people that has been displaced and ethnically cleansed by another people claiming the land by divine decree and past victimhood.

There were about 3,500 Palestinians massacred by the far right Kataeb Phalange militias, but it was done in full coordination with the IDF which cordoned off the area, and the massacres of an unarmed population were carried through the night with the Israelis lighting the area with flares.

I thought El Sayed would surely lose with the $46M and counting spent against him, especially in a midwestern state with a sizeable rural and "deep red" population where it might be easier to smear a candidate on the basis of his ethnicity, but it looks like he has been holding out well:

Polls are meaningless to me at this point.

What does mean something to me is American voters eventually deciding that AIPAC money is an automatic disqualifier for office and we're not there yet. Propaganda still works on voters for the most part.

I get it but if the same polling company shows a huge shift in 3 weeks towards a candidate, that is a relevant data point.
