Joe Biden pardoned his son, Anthony Fauci, Gen Milley, Schiff, and the J6 Unselect Committee. The mods all voted for Kamala. They had no choice after the Biden coup. The people who shot Trump and Charlie Kirk probably vote Democrat too. The people who were obsessed with Russia hoax, vax status of others, J6, and the Epstein list are ignorant fools. Building genocide could have been prevented. Queers for Palestine. Trans rights. No Kings. Hamas not Hummus. Cousin love. Allahu Akbar.

Hard to get mad at the Dodgers for making a good trade. Every other team had the chance to beat the offer.

He's a rental, free agent in off season but I have no doubt that they will sign him to some ten year deferred deal.

It doesn't help the rest of the league when MLB agreed to stupid deals like this

So how long until the great vampire squid jams its money sucking blood funnel into Mark Walter's Dodger's now that it has him on the run?

Last 4 games . . .

3-1.

Prior to that, they had a big losing streak. Please note that the Dodgers are managing their roster, mainly their pitching staff including relievers, to win in the postseason. They aren't pulling all stops to win each game in a 162 game season. Frankly, they would have gone 0-10 if they didn't get to play the Royals, who are as bad as the giants.

.Milwaukee 4
Dodgers 1

Brewers hit the fewest HR's in all of baseball.
Had 2 tonight against the Dodgers.

Jacob Misiorowski 12th win of the season
Lead series 2 - 1

Meanwhile, Joshua Baez for the Cardinals, a 2nd round pick hits 3 HR's in his MLB debut.

Never been done before.

Would be 2-1 Dodgers series lead if it were a playoff series. Besides a shaky closer not pitching yesterday, Wrobleski would either have some time off before to correct his recent slump or get moved to the bullpen come playoff time.

"Before Saturday, only two MLB players had gone yard in their first two at-bats, let alone three: Bob Nieman of the St. Louis Browns (1951) and Keith McDonald of the Cardinals (2000). That's right, three players have homered in two straight at-bats to start their careers, and all three played in St. Louis."

Just for fun, baseball playoff outcomes from this point based on regular season stats for:

Lowest strikeouts per home run:
Dodgers beat Braves (these two teams are actually #1 and #2 in this stat so if the Braves win then just plug in the Braves for the Dodgers the rest of the way)
Padres beat Brewers (Brewers are in last for this metric by a good margin but they have The Miz)
Yankees beat Rays (doubtful in my mind)
White Sox beat Guardians
.....
Dodgers beat Padres
Yankees beat White Sox
.....
Dodgers beat Yankees

Batting Average:
Dodgers beat Braves
Brewers beat Padres
Rays beat Yankees
White Sox beat Guardians (.001 difference)
.....
Dodgers beat Brewers (.001 difference)
Rays beat White Sox
.....
Dodgers beat Rays

Home Runs:
Dodgers and Braves tie???
Padres beat Brewers
Yankees beat Rays
White Sox beat Guardians
.....
Dodgers beat Padres
Yankees beat White Sox
.....
Yankees beat Dodgers

Lowest Strikeouts:
Dodgers beat Braves
Padres beat Brewers
Rays beat Yankees
Guardians beat White Sox
.....

Rays beat Guardians

Updated post Division Series'. So far the indicators for success are teams that make contact (batting average and lowest strikeouts) in the regular season over teams that focus on power (home runs and lowest strikeouts per home run).

My opinion is that sabremetrics that guide a team to success in June are not necessarily the metrics that guide a team to success in the postseason against above average opposition.

Dodgers can only muster 3 hits.

Yamamoto gets HAMMERED in the third.
Willie Contreras goes 3 - 4 with 3 RBI's and a homer for the Brewers.

Ohtani goes 0 - 4
Two strikeouts.

Brewers up 2 - 0.

I really thought the Brew Crew would choke away their fantastic regular season but fair play so far. Do still think Dodgers will win mind.

Ohtani, Smith and Yamamoto failing. I think they will come to life at home.

Skubal and Yamamoto didn't get it done.
Brewers are in a great position.

Contreras drove the offense, but once again, the Brewers' bullpen proved to be airtight. Milwaukee relievers have allowed one earned run in 28 innings in the postseason. Hot bullpens win championships, especially when they're already really good.

The Brewers are a good team. They are the opposite of the giants as they actually win games and actually have a low payroll. They actually have a payroll under 200 million. The Brewers would be a good team for bay area folks to bandwagon onto if the giants get relegated to the minor leagues. The Dodgers, however, still have a chance here as next two games are at home. Rumor is that ailing Ohtani may be replaced in the lineup with De Paula, the #4 prospect in all of baseball.
DiabloWags

That's a cool story.
'm not a bandwagon guy.

Have always been a Brewer's fan given my position in EXAS since 2009 and multiple meetings in Madison with management.

Thanks.

The Brewers differ from the Giants in one critical way- they've yet to win anything of value

I have been to Milwaukee, along with several other cities that have baseball teams. What an adorable excuse to abandon your local crappy team for an actual good one! Kudos.

Abandon?

You continue to make a lot of bizarre assumptions that are not based in fact.
But I've noticed that you do that an awful lot here.

For example, I was a Detroit Tiger fan growing up here in the East Bay in the late 60's.
I was never an A's fan even with all of the Championships they won. Thus, I never "abandoned" them.

You sound upset that the Dodgers are losing.
I would suggest not taking "that" out on anonymous posters on a message board.

Yes, I am extremely upset that the back to back World Series Champion Dodgers, winners in 2024 and 2025, are down 2-0 to a good team in the NLCS while the dumpster fire giants trade their only decent players for more flaming garbage on their way to further ineptitude. Have you ever been to L.A.? Maybe use that as an excuse to be a Dodgers fan?
