Now it might actually be BS. Nobody is on the record, which is one of the methods they use to sell bull**** like Russiagate where nothing goes on the record and it turns out everything was fabricated.

Reuters isn't going to be able to verify an Atlantic reporter's anonymous sources because they're anonymous.

It's not completely useless, but it should definitely set off people's bull**** detector. Sometimes you have to use anonymous sourcing on stuff. But it's the default move in the standard Washington smear article.
