In California, repeatedly sending electronic messages with the intent to annoy or harass can be a misdemeanor under Penal Code 653m, even without threats. Continuing after a clear request to stop can help demonstrate that intent.

There is for sure bad faith behind your messages. It is not informational outreach, customer service or legitimate discourse. I have already reached out to an attorney and shared screenshots of all message to see about pursuing legal action, they have agreed to take on the case should I choose to pursue it . I have asked you multiple times to stop send harassing DMs and you continue to. I have reached out to the mods and you were suspended once for it but the messages continue. My next course of action is legal.

I've been out for most of the day preparing my home for Winter with our first rain coming in late Wednesday and am trying to catch up and just came across this post.

Question: Why would an attorney take on your "case" against an internet poster when that would be up to a DA's Office?
