Just on a whim, I googled to see how Leon Spinks was doing these days. I hadn't heard anything about him in years. The answer is not good at all. He's suffering from dementia (one has to suspect that in his mid 60s that it's probably due to boxing). He also has advanced prostate cancer that has spread to his hipbones and he's using a walker to get around. The USA Today news story I found from last May said his cancer was considered terminal.bearister said:
