Who knows? Someone might try to storm the capitol and stop the transfer of power.
Hopefully no unarmed female gets murdered by a Capitol Hill Police officer this time.

The USCP deemed the shooting was "lawful and within Department policy" and "potentially saved Members (of Congress) and staff from serious injury and possible death".

We investigated ourselves and found ourselves not guilty.

Today: "I pardoned Hunter Biden because it's not fair that he did crimes but nobody reaaaaaaally gets prosecuted for these things, totally unfair!"

It's unfortunate that she was shot.

I'm unaware of anyone that's ever been gunned down by cops while walking to church Sunday morning in their Sunday best.

Mess around with lawlessness and you subject yourself to the people with badges and guns. Some percentage of the time that's gonna be a tragic ending for you,

According to Politico, this act is nothing more than just ammunition for conservatives to own the libs. Nothing more.

I would be a good bit surprised if anyone actually believed his claims he wouldn't pardon Hunter. It seemed patently absurd from the get go. I could kinda be okay with it if it was done in the same way Ford pardoned Nixon and all the folks who went to Canada instead of Vietnam.

If the media doesn't question Biden or his press secretary tomorrow, then they never believed him either.

So, a politician said they weren't going to do something and then they did it? Hard to believe! Has it occurred to anybody that maybe Biden didn't remember having said that?

Has it occurred to anybody that any thoughts or time spent on Hunter Biden have been a complete waste?

Somebody wake me up when Biden pardons Hillary Clinton for those emails and for the chain of pedo pizza parlors.

Biden is pardoning his son because he doesn't trust the people coming into power not to do everything they can to put him in jail.

Also, Biden has no more need to save political capital so who cares? Spend it all while you can.

Turns out the pardon was not just for the two convictions. It goes back all the way to 2014 and covers any crimes he may have committed. Read: the pardon covers the Ukraine / Burisma years.

That's gross. Looking forward to all the apologies from the liberals who claimed the Bidens did nothing wrong with Ukraine's Burisma paying coked out ***** mongering Hunter hundreds of thousands of dollars while Joe scuttled investigations into wrongdoing.

Rationale for the pardon: Hunter was singled out; the prosecutions were politically motivated.

Inconvenient factoid: He was prosecuted by Biden's DOJ.

I mean, the prosecutions were politically motivated, but I've always wanted them to go forward because I don't think they would actually uncover anything illegal. Scummy and unethical stuff around Hunter, yes probably, but not illegal.

He did do that, with Kushner's father and several other criminals from his extended business and donor circles.

The one thing that bothers me about the Hunter issue though is that it was turned into a conspiracy theory (laptop didn't exist, is Russian disinfo etc), and actively covered up by the deep state and the MSM. That's the more troubling aspect here.

Apologize for what? he did nothing wrong. 003, you're grasping. Prosecuting Hunter for a gun crime that people are rarely prosecuted for. Or for not paying taxes - something that is also a less prosecuted crime. 003 gets his headlines from the GRU Daily.

Any of it, really. I guess that's besides the more low-level stuff like drug possession or whatever, I'm talking about actual corruption that made it into the US government (which seems to be what everyone wants to insinuate).

Hunter Biden clearly got a job at Burisma because the company thought they could leverage his family connections for influence. That seems pretty likely to be true. That's pretty scummy/unethical but sadly not uncommon either. The question of whether or not any of this actually affected Joe Biden's decisions (either as Prez or VP) has been much harder to prove, and I don't think anyone has actually proven it. A private citizen taking an undeserved salary at a foreign company is ultimately not illegal.

Forget the gun charges, what in the world was Hunter Biden doing in Ukraine and does that have anything to do with the war that we're supporting there now?
tequila4kapp
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Well, saying there's nothing there for the gun and tax charges he was actually convicted of or pled guilty to doesn't make logical sense. We know he committed those crimes; they were proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

Now people might say "whatever, who cares, small potatoes"...fine, different people can care about different crimes as they wish.

I mean, the gun charge I'd also call a low-level thing, but yes, obviously that's real. Again, the core issue that people want to be true is that Hunter Biden was corrupting the US government and influencing policy in some way. That's the thing that I don't think has been proven.

You ask this question as if its the first time you have never heard of an idiot son or daughter getting a job on a board of directors simply because their parents are rich and influential. I mean, are you a farmer or something? Last to know? Welcome to the 21st century Buck Rogers. lmao

Meanwhile, you're turning a blind eye to jared Kushner's father about to get the ambassadorship to France. Charles Kushner, the pardoned (by Orangey) disbarred son of jared. Yeah, pffft, no issues with that at all. You're all over the place dude. No one takes you seriously.
