I thought this was an open not-so secret. Obama may be the only President that bought a house in DC instead of returning to his home state after his presidency ended.

    A federal judge on Thursday said she will order Trump administration officials to not make any changes to Harvard University's international student visa program indefinitely, delivering another legal victory for the embattled school as its commencement unfolded with an air of protest not far away.

    The brief court hearing before US District Court Judge Allison Burroughs came after the judge last week temporarily halted the administration's ban on Harvard University's ability to enroll international students. Burroughs made it clear Thursday that even a last-minute reversal of Trump administration demands of Harvard wouldn't be enough, and a court order was necessary.

    The issue is ludicrous and not even debatable by reasonable minds, but it is unfortunate that it is tainted by the fact MAGA has made it one of its rallying cries.

    Been thinking of starting another thread about this...

    They are allowing transgender girls to compete (there aren't many, at all), but creating more invitations and places on the victory stand, as needed, so that no biological girls are denied spots.

    Seems like a good workaround, to me. Especially since, as I stated above, there aren't many of these cases. Of course, people on both sides are complaining nevertheless, which kind of illustrates why we are so divided.

    that is reasonable... there are so many common sense solutions regarding this situation, the people that keep trying to be "ideologically pure' kind of irk me

    again, it seems quite rare that trans females are taking spots from biological females, but every time it happens, we hear about it... also rare that muscular "pat" brutally dominates demure muffy, but we hear about all of those, too
