I didn't have Nicki being the voice of reason on my 2026 bingo card

Okay, if anyone actually wants the legitimate argument against this, here it is

There is no legitimate argument against it and the fact that Democratic politicians fight so hard in the name of "It's just too much of a burden for these folks to get something that they're already getting so they can drive a car legally" tells you that they want to protect it for nefarious reasons.

Not everyone drives a car but they should still get to vote.

You need ID for about 10 other things other than just driving a car and you expose how intellectually dishonest you are when you pretend it's a burden for those folks to get ID.

This video has been posted here before, but it bears repeating just to point out how incredibly weak these Democrat arguments against voter ID are.

Liberal racism and or pandering.

Major progressive upset in New Jersey last night. With Mikie Sherrill moving on to be governor, the primary election to replace her in Congress was held yesterday and in a shocker the Bernie Sanders / AOC supported candidate, Anelilia Mejia, appears to have won the democratic primary. This is considered a safe blue seat but that theory will be tested when moderate, wealthy, white democrats are asked to vote for Mejia in the general election in April.

Thirteen candidates were on the ballot for the democrats. In an interesting turn of events, the 2 centrist, machine candidates seem to have split their votes (Way and Gill). While the centrist outsider candidate (Malinowski) seemed poised to win until AIPAC really messed up. Malinowski had expressed some mild concerns about Israel so AIPAC spent millions in the last few weeks trashing Malinowski. It appears they assumed in trashing Malinowski, the centrist machine candidates would pick up votes. But what happened is that the progressive candidate appears to have pulled off a stunning upset that nobody saw coming and her view is that Israel has been committing genocide. Oops for AIPAC. The race has not been declared as Mejia is up on Malinowski by less than 1%.

I voted for Malinowski but am more than happy to support Mejia in the general. My fear for Mejia was that she is too progressive for this district and I did not want one of the machine candidates to win. Vote blue no matter who.

This song is going viral right now, it's called 'A Million Amelias' and its based on the UK govt's game they created to brainwash children and it's become one of the all time backfires as the character they wanted to be the wrongthinker is being celebrated by the right. Not going to lie, the song actually slaps. AI is becoming so so good in creating this kind of art.

This was a notable result. Pretty good evidence for what I've been saying: that Democratic base voters are fed up with their establishment leadership and also with their position on Israel.

When they start voting out incumbents that voted to send weapons to Israel, I'll believe that. Getting less than 30% in a contested primary for an open seat doesn't tell me anything about the country at large.

There was a tmie I thought the election of AOC was starting somewhere. That went nowhere and she and her co-horts were rolling over for centrists by her second term.

I'm very much in a "Show Me" space with so-called "progressives."

AOC is still well to the left of the average Congressperson. Again, this kind of thing wouldn't just happen all at once. You need a lot of little victories.

The sets were really cool, music was decent. Don't know any songs so hard to get too into it but it was fine. Didn't understand Gaga being there but maybe I missed something. 5.5/10 rating.

The ones who thought Paul Ryan was the conservative ideal.

To be fair, two of the three operas I've ever been to were incredibly slow and boring.
