Because mainstream academic and scientific consensus frequently contradicts populist or right-wing narratives, the AI's standard "factual" response is often interpreted as a partisan attack.

In other words, facts constitute a partisan attack on misinformation.

Not even remotely true.

No, there are not 106 rigorous scientific studies involving 200,000 patients proving ivermectin is an effective treatment for COVID-19.

While those specific numbers circulate widely on alternative data-aggregation websites (such as ivermectin-focused meta-analysis trackers), the claim is scientifically misleading. Independent medical authorities and rigorous peer-reviewed analyses have repeatedly debunked the assertion that ivermectin is an effective COVID-19 treatment.

The reality behind the numbers and the scientific consensus breaks down across several key areas:

Flawed Data Aggregation
The website aggregating these "106 studies" reaches its high patient and study counts by pooling low-quality data. Including:

Weak Evidence:
The count includes unreviewed preprints, observational studies, anecdotal reports, and small, poorly designed trials.

No Quality Controls:
It blends data together regardless of whether the individual studies adhered to strict scientific standards.

Medical Fraud and Critical Errors

When independent scientists and organizations like the Cochrane Library reviewed the trials making up the bulk of the pro-ivermectin narrative, they found severe issues:

Fabricated Data:
Several major, early studies claiming massive reductions in COVID-19 deaths were retracted or exposed as completely fraudulent (such as the Elgazzar study).

Systemic Flaws:
Over a third of the primary pro-ivermectin trials contained critical calculation errors, duplicated patient data, or a total lack of true randomization.

Bias Impact:
Meta-analyses show that when you remove the studies with a high risk of bias or fraud, any statistical benefit of ivermectin completely disappears.

Large, Gold-Standard Clinical Trials

When ivermectin was put to the test in massive, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trials the gold standard of medical research it consistently failed to show a clinical benefit:

The TOGETHER Trial:
This large trial found no significant difference between ivermectin and a placebo regarding hospitalizations or emergency room visits.

The ACTIV-6 Trial:
Funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), this study tested thousands of patients and concluded that ivermectin did not improve recovery times or prevent hospitalization.

The PRINCIPLE Trial:
Conducted by the University of Oxford, this large-scale study confirmed that ivermectin does not provide clinically meaningful benefits for COVID-19 recovery or mortality.

Official Regulatory Stance

Major global health organizations have explicitly advised against using ivermectin to treat COVID-19 outside of controlled clinical trials. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the World Health Organization maintain that extensive clinical data does not demonstrate the drug's effectiveness against the virus in humans.

Good job! 88 never gives up spreading these lies.

I don't have time to refute it, but let me just say that I have a friend, fellow I-House alum and Harvard MD grad from Africa who rose up the ranks and had a large part in running his country and the region's epidemic response going back to the AIDS epidemic in the late 90s - he was stunned at how gullible, arrogant and corrupt the medical establishment is in the West.

Ivory Coast, pop. 30 million in 2020 - 835 total deaths from covid
California, pop 38 million in 2020 - 91,000 total deaths from covid.

Half their population in west Africa is/was on antimalarial or antiparasitic drugs - essentially ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine, which they have also used for treating covid.

Ivermectin is available over the counter in many countries, several billion doses administered, safety profile similar to aspirin.

This is the reason AI will not provide support for the claim that Ivermectin is a viable treatment for COVID-19.

AI models do not have personal opinions or beliefs. Instead, they recognize patterns in the vast data they are trained on. Because the overwhelming majority of peer-reviewed literature, public health guidelines, and clinical trial results state that ivermectin is ineffective against COVID-19, the AI synthesizes this weight of evidence to provide a factual, safety-first response.

*AI can't be used to provide support for any of the misinformation on MAGA's Greatest Hits, which get rolled out like comfort food every time Trump steps on his dick.

It's been configured and trained to give you the "right" answers, no different than Google or other search tools that can be trained according to their owners or stakeholders standards.

Here is an analysis of EVERY scientific study published on ivermectin as a cure for covid, 106 studies from around the world, proving beyond any doubt its effectiveness.

https://c19early.org/ivermectin-covid-19-meta-analysis.pdf

The other aspect about ivermectin that uninformed idiots will parrot is that it is unsafe, despite the fact that it has been an over the counter drug in many countries that has been administered billions of times.

Ivermectin is a safe and effective treatment against covid, this has been proven without any doubt by over 100 scientific studies.

Because Ivermectin is out of patent, Dr. Campbell notes Big Pharma can't monetize it. He's previously suggested studies that could be conducted not requiring millions.

Likewise, there are many other safe drugs and compounds we could test for other illnesses.

I don't follow it, but FenBen (Fenbendazole) is eportedly being studied as a multipathway cancer drug.

I'm not prepared to refute the California vs Ivory Coast data right now, but here are some questions that come to mind:

* Does California have a significantly older population?
* Does Ivory Coast have a lower obesity level?
* Do Californians spend a lot more time indoors?
* How were the "deaths from COVID" stats counted? (died of COVID vs. died with COVID, etc)

I was a trial lawyer for 36 years, so my framework for deciding which way to go on a issue is based upon the preponderance of the evidence standard and I am persuaded by expert witnesses based on credibility, qualifications, and the strength of the evidence.

Could I be wrong about Ivermectin and COVID vaccines? Absolutely…… but to date, I am thoroughly unconvinced by the narrative being pushed in support of your contentions, and by the experts pushing it. I would never wager my health on the accuracy of their medical advice.

Dr. Campbell was a voice of reason during Covid / vaccines, and was a late convert to Ivermectin. I saw a subtle turn when he was interviewing a volunteer in Africa dyring Covid, and was told few of his countrymen got Covid. Dr. Campbell was understated British shocked when he realized most were unvaccinated. He asked more questions, realizing the uninfected had a more traditional diet, average weight / slim, and the populace largely took IVM for riverblindness. And loads of Vitamin D (sunshine).

Here he gives a quick intro on another new study showing one IVM dose of 12 MG has antiviral properties. And he admits to self-prescribing it for himself. (See below.)

Aside: a friend asked his doctor for a prescription of IVM during Covid, and his doctor refused. A doctor I have is from Pakistan, and she is fully appreciative of IVMs benefits.

You know, I see his stuff posted so much in these threads and had never really looked him up before, but it turns out that "Dr." John Campbell is not actually a doctor, at least not a medical doctor. He was a nurse and a guy who taught courses on nursing. Him using the title of "Doctor" is basically in the same context that Jill Biden did.

CA has around 6x the rate of older people, and 2,5x the rate of obesity. That doesn't get you anywhere near the delta of Ivory Coast (or most other west African countries) having more than a hundred times fewer covid deaths - 835 vs 91,000.

Toyota shifts truck plant from Mexico to Texas.

Toyota announced they are moving half of their Tacoma Truck production from Mexico to an expanded facility in Texas that will now encompass 5 million square feet in San Antonio.

The new plant will add 2,000 direct jobs.

Wake up call for Mexico and Canada.

GERMANY "According to Reuters, Volkswagen's supervisory board is expected to discuss a sweeping restructuring proposal at a July 9 meeting. People familiar with the matter say the plan could eliminate up to 100,000 jobs and close four factories in Germany, adding to roughly 50,000 workforce reductions already planned. If approved, it would become the largest restructuring in Volkswagen's history and one of the biggest workforce overhauls the global auto industry has ever seen."

For your information, the VW Supervisory Board will be voting on the restructuring proposal on July 9th. The Board of Directors needs this supervisory group to approve the measures that they have set forth.

This will be a most complicated "maneuver" and face all kinds of challenges given that VW is what is called a joint-stock company with the state of Lower Saxony is a 20% shareholder. As a result, the BoD at VW is limited in what they can do. Never mind the fact that the labor unions will be pushing back too.

Volkswagen's General Works Council and German industrial union IG Metall pledged to push back against the reported job cuts and plant closures. "If such plans were to be pushed forward, we would prevent them with all our might," they said in a joint statement, according to a translation.

Wall Street Journal: For decades, thousands of niche, world-class manufacturers that form the backbone of the German economy relied on an unassailable moat: unmatched quality. Now that moat is drying up.

The Mittelstanda broad tier of midsize manufacturers, mainly specialized in capital and intermediate goods and reliant on exportsonce thrived by making machines for factories everywhere. But China is now closing the quality gap and offering prices as low as half those of their European rivals.

As panic spreads among German manufacturers, layoffs are rolling through formerly prosperous towns and villages with no living memory of a downturn.

The moment could become a political turning point for a country whose wealth was largely created by the Mittelstand, or "middle-class"shorthand for the inner core of Europe's largest economy.

For the first time in decades, Germany now imports more advanced capital goods from China than it exports there. Manufacturers are suddenly on the defensive, not just in China and elsewhere, but also at home. Many Mittelstand firms are idling workers, cutting jobs or shifting production, including to China.
