I did not know that. I dug both book and movie. As I recall, I think I wrote a paper on Plato's Republic, 1984 and Clockwork Orange in English 1B as a freshman.

Malcolm McDowell was supposed to be in next Big Thing in the early 70's. He was my favorite actor back then. IF…., Clockwork Orange and O Lucky Man achieved cult status. Then a little problem reared its head. Malcom's drug and alcohol problems derailed his career and he contracted the Keef disease: aging 30 years in 5 years:

I often wondered if Barry committed suicide. Seems too coincidental. I heard he never got over Duane's death.
