"Journalism" has closed ranks with the Democratic party. The closing has been happening for about 50 years. Started with Vietnam. At this point, it is complete. without the MSM, Biden probably would lose votes within his family. The Democratic party has made a faustian bargain with the Left. Please google. if Biden wins, the "revolution" begins. That's why gun sales are up 90%. Even women are buying guns in record numbers. At the tender age of 83, I just bought four guns. I will buy more. You want a piece of me???Be my guest..

"I think it's my ethical duty to do what I can do to end injustices in the world, such as the injustice of Edward Snowden being trapped in one country for having exposed things that Americans have the right to know and the injustice of Julian Assange being prosecuted and extradited to the United States on espionage charges for revealing war crimes about the United States, and so when somebody offers me the opportunity to end an injustice and make the world more just, I'm gonna do that and it's not even a close debate for me. I care a lot more about outcomes about having my beliefs manifest as change in the world, than I care about preening and posturing for the approval of LARPing online liberals."

They are preening narcissists more interested in twitter approbation than stories.

For them,,Trump saying mean things to Jim Acosta is our freedom of the press being attacked. Assange? Ellsberg? Snowden? Who are they?

https://dominicjonesjewelry.com/world-news/useful-idiots-glenn-greenwald-on-reality-winner-controversy-and-asking-trump-to-pardon-snowden/

Greenwald rebuts Ben Smith's recent New York Times piece on The Intercept publishing the Reality Winner leak. "It wasn't like The Intercept was free from mistakes, there were mistakes made, and they acknowledged those mistakes. The parent company paid for the source's, Reality Winner's, legal defense," says Greenwald. "I just don't know what this New York Times article added other than to try and just take shots at people incoherently."

Greenwald also charges that in many stories that he's appeared in, the journalists writing them have passed off hypotheses as facts, when Greenwald says many of those things are categorically untrue. "I would be present for events, or conversations, or things that people did, and then I would read in a major news outlet in a very authoritative tone, describing something that I knew first-hand was completely false," says Greenwald. "You're listening to the most trusted and influential media outlets saying things that you know personally didn't happen, are totally false, over and over and over again There's nothing like being at the center of a story to make you realize just what a disinformation machine it is."

You could, of course, just watch the video from the beginning and understand why she got caught, but that would require a level of intellectual curiosity that you are utterly incapable of.

"Yeah, I mean obviously if Rachel Maddow or Chris Hayes gave the slightest shyt about Julian Assange or Edward Snowden which they don't because their Democratic partisans only want to hear about Trump being an orange Nazi and so they don't cover things that their audience doesn't want to hear because that's how they keep their multi-million dollar contracts. But in a world where Chris Hayes and Rachel Maddow actually cared about press freedom and covered Edward Snowden's pardon or Julian Assange's extradition and asked me to come on to talk about it, of course I would go on their inconsequential shows and do that just like I would go on Wolf Blitzer's or Anderson Cooper or Don Lemon's inconsequential show and talk about it there too, but they don't ask me on because they don't allow dissent on those networks. The only thing they allow on those networks are people who go on with one message, which is Trump is evil and Democrats are good."

Just like with #MeToo, we only care about some kinds of corruption. The politically iniconvenient crimes, corruption, and nepotism must never be confronted.

That's less than 1% of the corruption of the Trump family. And as we all know, nothing came out of the Trump corruption. So really this is no big deal.

Hunter Biden's very very short naval career:

In May 2013, Biden's application for a position in the U.S. Navy Reserve was approved. At age 43, Biden was accepted as part of a program that allows a limited number of applicants with desirable skills to receive commissions and serve in staff positions. He received an age-related waiver and a waiver due to a past drug-related incident, and was sworn in as a direct commission officer, Joe Biden administered his commissioning oath in a White House ceremony..

The following month, Biden tested positive for cocaine during a urinalysis test and was subsequently discharged. Biden attributed the result to smoking cigarettes he had accepted from other smokers, only later suspecting they had been laced with the drug, He chose not to appeal the matter as it was unlikely that the panel would believe his explanation given his history with drugs, and also due to the likelihood of news leaking to the press, though it was ultimately revealed to The Wall Street Journal by a Navy official who provided information to the newspaper on condition of anonymity.

The irony is that conservatives have made the media more terrible.

Private equity firms have bought some of the best journalism publications -- even ones that were profitable -- and squeezed them dry.

Trump's friend Peter Thiel sued one publication --- the one that exposed Jeffrey Epstein and Trump -- out of existence.

Meanwhile, Facebook has been able to have a monopoly on advertising.

The only way for publications to survive is by merging, thus creating less competition, thus making the media more and more terrible.

The only way for publications to survive are with a billionaire benefactor.

Republicans pretend to be outraged over legal activity by Hunter Biden, which is money from Russia in a failed attempt to corrupt the process and then information passed around by Russia and readily used by Republicans. Also, the kind of money which is just a day's work for the Trump family.

In the meantime, Eric Trump has been ordered to testify related to an investigation that actually involves criminal wrongdoing.

Years ago, I was sitting in a family court and there was a hearing where the divorced couple was bickering the whole time. The judge lost it. He went on a tirade. Yelled at them that he has watched them in hearing after hearing, that they have spent their child's college education on attorney fees and they better damn well get it together and figure out a way to come to agreement and figure out a way to be reasonable in working together to raise their kid. After he finished yelling at them, they simultaneously looked at each other and screamed "Do you hear what he is telling you?!?!?!?!!!!!"

True story.
