Between two teenage daughters (shotgun time), attending every Cal event imaginable, and driving the links all too often, not sure the shockster has any time to brush up on anything.

Look at this animal. Yes, he's going to die. Whether he hits his target or not. (Not.)
But at least he got to run around and take out a measure of his vengeance. One last stretch of the legs.

This page shows stats of USA animal slaughters annually.
Cattle are at 32 million.

This page talks about what humane slaughter looks like. They highlight the Cash Knocker.
This page shows this type of instrument in practice (video).

Which way would you rather die? It's a fair question.

I suppose with a degree from (pick your recruiting-competition college) one could get a job in the slaughterhouse and see what the stun gun and other methods feel like (on a emotion level - is it humane?), and then go join the circus of bullfighting as an ex-pat poop shoveler doing undercover research on how that "feels", and compare the two and report back to us.

Cal is not that kind of school, of course. But it might qualify one to feel s/he knows enough to talk about such things. We know Berkeley is full of those types.

On a separate note, looking back at the photo, I have to say I always feel sorry for the matador. I mean, look how his package is all squished up on one side. That must hurt! Worse than blue balls! (No wonder he's in a hurry to kill the damned animal - so he can run back to the changing room and get out of such ridiculous clothing!) (Maybe the reason for such dress is they discovered its the only way to get women in the audience. Men go for the art of the kill. Women go for the art of the package. Businessmen learned they could sell both beer AND salami!)

Anyways, it's always that way. See what I mean?

And do they always ride on the left?
Maybe it's because the bull passes on the right hand side and it's a good idea to keep the family jewels as far away from the bull as possible.
That didn't help this guy. He must have pulled off the impressive 360 pass, and barely got away with it!

the california golden bears are actively targeting 2015 top 25 6'4" 180s lbs scoring machine tyler dorsey

dorsey made a decommitment to arizona after he was cut from the usa basketball under 18 basketball team by assistant coach sean miller...the wildcats staff envisioned tyler playing strictly the 2 despite his interest & ability to be multiple

last season at st john bosco tyler averaged 21.4 ppg, 6 rpg & 4.7 apg with a solid 3.3 gpa

a native of pasadena, dorsey will transfer back home to marantha for his sr season & head coach tim tucker

tyler has offers (with a list that continues to grow) from national powerhouses but in terms of staying on the west coast (and playing against arizona in the pac 12, do you wanna clownpunk sean miller 2-3 times a year?) & playing for a head coach who develops combo guard talent in his up tempo attacking offense the bears will be a serious player particularly if ivan decides to join him in berkeley...cal's 2015 recruiting class is already off to an excellent start with former top 35 player stephen domingo already shining in practices during his blueshirt season, who's gonna be the 2nd top 40 commitment for cal's potential diamonds are forever 2015 class?

cuonzo & co had dorsey's first in home visit with coaches on september 9th

tyler's mentors thru the recruiting process are his dad jerrid & dinos trignos, a longtime respected aau coach for belmont shore...his official visits schedule is as follows:
oregon-september 5th
colorado-september 19th
kansas-october 10th
arizona state-october 17th
cal-october 24th

the above list is noteable for the truly mediocre schools from an academic standpoint that will not realistically open any doors in life outside of basketball other than cal, the #1 ranked public university in the world & also the costly/time consuming plane flights from lax to those schools other than asu & cal...let's face it, a kansas degree isn't worth much in so cal, sure it might get you a part time:axe security job at paseo colorado but guess what?...that isn't bill self's problem

together we attack#

tyler dorsey scored 30 points on 12-15 fgs along with 8 boards, 2 steals & a block (only negative was 1 assist) as the marantha minutemen (1-0) marched over the st anthony saints 75-41 in the season opener for both schools

travis decuire's grizzlies are led by #12 6'8" 210 lbs martin bruenig (13.8 ppg & 7.2 rpg, transfer from washington), #10 6'2" 194 lbs jordan gregory (10.6 ppg & .278 fg%), #33 6'7" 193 lbs michael weisner (8.6 ppg), #1 6' 172 lbs mario dunn (8.4 ppg & 3.4 apg. salesian hs), #34 6'4" 190 lbs brandon gfeller (7.8 ppg with a sizzling .520 3 pt%) & #14 6'5" 200 lbs jermaine edmonds jr (7.0 ppg & 3.6 apg, salesian hs)

the bears gotta push transition to open up the offense & then pound it inside and exploit cal's signficant height advantage...if bruenig gets in foul trouble, the grizzlies would lose their only major rebounding threat...on d the bears gotta close out shooters particularly gfeller better than they did in fresno

left to right, jordan "ice in his veins" mathews, tyrone "15 boards" wallace, brandon "the sniper" chauca, sam "the pickpocket" singer & david "not gonna foul out" kravish

the nite belongs to jordan's ******* ice in his veins daggars to the heart vs an absolutely valiant effort by travis decuire's montana grizzlies

winning basketball teams need a couple of alpha males, guys who want the ball at the end of the game, jordan mathews is evolving into one of those guys

after all the turnovers, missed defensive assignments, dropped passes & tactical mistakes, this golden bears team stayed together, there was no pointing of fingers or sorry broken down azz pity parties/selfish sulking...guys were emotionally available for each other, they fought back together

it's worth repeating again, this team isn't physically talented enough to just show up & sleepwalk their way to a w against anybody left on the schedule...on the other hand, if they play relentless d, crash the boards, push the tempo in transition & make the extra pass (and just as importantly, be prepared to receive the pass) they can beat anybody in the nation including a powerhouse like syracuse on the biggest stage on earth, madison square garden

when are you gonna turn off your tv & root in person for these hard working blue collar bears at haas?

the montana grizzlies executed a sound gameplan of slashing to the basket & double teaming kravish and although we've gone our separate ways with travis i wish him absolutely nothing but the best in the future, td is an exceptional person, coach & mentor

who knew brandon chauca is the lead singer for journey

brandon sampson is an explosively smooth 6'4" 170 lbs top 40 2015 guard from baton rouge's madison prep with special skills

a pac 12 coach told me that sampson could potentially be 2 & done & that he projects as a strong nba prospect

the biggest decision in this recruitment is whether or not he wants to play at lsu (which is 10 minutes from his house & a former hs teammate jarell martin plays for the tigers) or does he want to maybe get out of the south & experience something new & get a world class education?

pretty sure I know what snoop dogg's decision would be

sampson's official visits included cal (september 26th, huf is his guy), lsu (september 19th tigers football weekend with mom), st johns (october 17th, slick steve lavin made lots of empty promises) & usc (october 24th, had never experienced high levels of air pollution before) with one final visit available if necessary

brandon's official visit to cal included a noon football/basketball prep rally at sproul plaza, sightseeing in san francisco and the beaches with the fam, scrimmaging with the california golden bears and most importantly, quality time with the cal academic support staff team

huf & the staff are doing a good job keeping touch with brandon in baton rouge

the university of california, berkeley=#1 ranked public (#3 ranked overall) university in the world (including the south)

after an opening game defeat to callaway (ms) 95-64 (callaway is led by malik newman, bill self's #1 target at guard for the 2015 class), the madison prep chargers electrified lee (alabama) 59-38 behind sampson's outrageous double/double of 18 points & 18 boards...brandon is showing no ill effects from the concussion suffered this summer

is brandon sampson gonna be a driving catalyst behind cal's potential 2015 diamonds are forever class?

Dear Shocky,

How are you?

I am fine.

This letter is intended to reach out to you, Kevin McCarthy & Marcus Lee to advise that Kendall Smith will be transferring from the UNLV basketball program.

With a robust 2.8 GPA at Deer Valley High School and the strong backing of many Bears Insider posters who thought he should have been offered by Hall of Fame coach Mike Montgomery, I was very confident that Kendall would sparkle both on the court and academically in our worldwide recognized escort administration undergraduate program.

I guess some of us are just Dumb Azzs.

a key factor in vance's recruitment will be his excellent academic track record & ambition to excel as a true student athlete
