tom, you should take this sage advice here...honestly i think you're sexually confused with all your continued images/obsession with men & there's nothing wrong with that, we're not here to judge

the cal staff has extended an offer to 6'9" 215 lbs with a 7'4" wingspan theo john of champlin high school in minnesota & the howard pulley panthers aau team
theo is a high motor guy with hops that plays relentless physical d with developing offensive skills...he's team focused without a sense of entitlement that can play either the 4 or slide to the 5
coach o'toole is his lead recruiter for the california golden bears, his family places a high premium on academics
john broke his nose at last weekend's las vegas classic & dnp in the championship game...dude is not candy azz soft, he would've played in a friday the 13th hockey mask if necessary
theo has already made numerous unofficial trips to nearby minnesota, official visits to purdue & oklahoma and is scheduled to visit marquette the 2nd week of september
the big question in his recruitment is does he want to stay in the cold azz midwest for the rest of his sorry broken down azz life or explore his opportunity to attend the #1 public (#3 overall) university in the world in cali, yeah it's not sweater weather in the cosmopolitan san francisco bay area
if theo john decides to visit berkeley this is gonna be a real interesting recruitment

And you know, we gotta get these kids to think. College is about challenging conventional norms and patterns of thinking.
You represent the standard. Boorrrriiiinnnngggg!
What better way to inspire our recruits than to actually show them how the educated man sees things.
You're educated, aren't you? And I don't just mean in the standard obvious ways - you can go beyond that, right? Cause you're multiple!!!

major cal basketball announcement: after consultation with the cal's monster class executive under 20 (sorry hoop dreams) management team (shay & taylor need gas money so they're being extra nice to dad) it has been decided that the previously named cal's touch the sky class (2017) will be changed to cal's all the way up class (2017)
let's be real here, california golden bears commits/recruits to the #1 ranked public (#3 overall) university in the world wanna travel in uber helicopters all the way up, nothing can stop us
yeah, this **** is getting live

tom, why don't you just start your own recruiting thread (maybe you could call it cal's chunky monkey class) directed at white middle aged bi curious men that don't got season tixs (like you)?

the bears staff is actively recruiting 6'1" 155 lbs brandon williams the top ranked pg on the west coast & a top 25 player in the 2018 class from crespi carmelite high school & the supreme elite aau team
williams has elite court speed & vision and can create for both his teammates & himself with jumpers off the dribble
the 2 schools on him the hardest at this time are cal & arizona
williams led crespi carmelite to a high school championship at haas pavilion last spring & then his parents joined him for an unofficial visit this november for the blue & gold scrimmage...he's already built a strong relationship with fellow los angeles guy, roman davis
brandon kinda wasted his academic talents as a freshman with a 2.5 gpa (which is not gonna get you a scholly to berkeley) but is now very motivated to become mentally limitless, his gpa this year is closer to 3.3...as his gpa continues to rise, the difference between an academically mediocre school like arizona with its 95% acceptance rate & the #1 ranked public (#3 overall) university in the world will become more of a factor when a decision is made down the road
cal's started at the bottom class (2018)#

coach martin has offered late emerging elite shooter 6'4" 165 lbs trevin knell of of wood cross high school & the utah prospects
trevin blew up in his last 2 aau tournaments this summer knocking down an unreal 18-39 (46.2%) 3 pointers at the gauntlet series finale & then 18-37 (48.6%) at the gauntlet series championship after sharpshooting 45.2% of 3 pointers during his junior season at wood cross...knell has got a disciplined work ethic practicing at least 500 (upwards to a 1000) 3 pointers a day & would benefit tremendously from coach christopher's rigorous (but fun) s&c program, he's too skinny right now
trevin is a mormon & is gonna take a 2 year mission somewhere in the world (location to be determined) after high school & then enrolling in college in 2019 as a stronger & wiser well traveled/experienced young man...berkeley has got a significant lds community
knell is not a dumb azz, he's got a 4.0 gpa throughout high school and will take ap english & honors math as a senior, his goal is be academic all state in utah as a senior...he's likely gonna make a 50 year decision that sets him & his family up for life & not settle for an academically mediocre school like utah (which is also actively recruiting him, he will meet with their staff in 2 weeks) which is 30 minutes away
trevin is gonna trip unofficially to cal august 28th (theo john will be making an official visit at that time) & if that visit goes well will return for an official visit before his targeted decision date in october
yeah berkeley is gonna be midnight city if the true student athltete trevin knell commits as a 2019 enrolle to the #1 public (#3 overall) university in the world, his shooting stroke is pure

check out the link from kevin mccarthy's informative nor cal basketball blog re: the rosters for today's 2016 nor cal clash at contra costa college at 2:00 pm
along with 2017 players of interest damari milstead & jade smith, the cal staff is actively scouting/recruiting the following nor cal guys on the 2018 roster:
*****elijah hardy, mercuraial/flashy point guard from bishop o'dowd
*****naseem gaskin, fast rising 6'3" lou richie coached up athlete from bishop o'dowd
*****jack wilson, cal recently offered the 7' true 5 from serra
*****james akinjo, 5'11" stud (talks to jabari bird) coached up by cal grad bill mellis at salesian
not sure why the 2018 roster don't include the #2 ranked player nationally jordan brown from roseville (woodcreek high school, teammate 6'6" chris cagle is in this game) & cal priority target 7' tolu jacobs yaffa from sacramento (capital christian, his teammates 6'4" zach chappell & 6'7" elias king are in this game)

http://www.usnews.com/education/best-global-universities/rankings
us news is ranking cal #3 in their 2015 collegiate world rankings, it's also the #1 ranked public university in the world
a cal degree is like a winning lottery ticket, it will open an unlimited number of doors in the future in your quest to achieve your dreams & goals in life...ask your favorite headhunter of elite talent, today's highly competitive global marketplace favors those that are well educated, that's just the way it is...if you go to an academically mediocre school like arizona or oregon & get injured you are ******, that's why you got to be mentally limitless
but you gotta have academic ambition to graduate from cal, are you willing to do the work?
yeah, ambition is priceless, it's something in your veins

happy b-day, alec, love your enthusiasm for the #1 ranked public (#3 overall) university in the world
hope you maximize your time at prep school to build muscle thru the s&c program, continue grinding to improve your basketball skills & most importantly work harder in the class room to raise your gpa to ensure a successful admission & transition to berkeley
nobody became mentally limitless overnight, alec, your journey is all in front of you...you got the 100% support of coach martin & the cal staff
let's do this
update: brandon chauca recently had the year end meeting that coach martin has with every player & coach asked him how he would feel if he never got off the bench next season...brandon told him that he's gonna work so hard & consistently knock down 3 pointers that coach won't have a choice but to play him
coach martin will also hopefully have a similar meeting in the near future with alec hickman focusing on 3 areas:
***academics: how did alec do this last semester of his senior year, did he achieve at least a 3.5+ gpa?...his overall borderline 3.0 gpa makes him a potential non acceptance risk with cal admissions...the staff frustrated oscar frayer, davon dillard, tyson jolly & jordan cornish and themselves (acting like a victim because of your own poor decisions is a clown's errand) by recruiting guys who weren't gonna be accepted at cal because of substandard academics
***s&c development: how much good weight/strength has hickman put on since his commitment, is he building the body to compete as a pac 12 level athlete?
***basketball skills: alec was named to the orange county's 4th team as a senior, is he developing the shooting, ball handling & defensive skills to be a contributor for the cal basketball program?
asking hickman to attend prep school for a year if he truly isn't a cal fit isn't fair to the young man, there is still time for him to sign with a less academically challenging low mid major program that he can earn playing time
if alec is making the necessary positive steps to be a contributor to the cal basketball program & is willing to accept his role in the future, then we'll look forward to seeing hickman in berkeley in 2017
summer update: alec hickman is showing signs of improvement this summer both in becoming more of a vocal leader & knocking down 3 pointers (yesterday's 5 3 pointers reflects his continued improvement)...he is by all accounts an unselfish team player without a sense of entitlement (like j mat) that is very coachable
my concerns with hickman pertain to his academics (why risk recruiting a prospective student athlete that is not a potential future superstar with a gpa that is marginal for cal admissions, why not recruit 4.0 gpa guys like ernie sears to fill out the roster?), his body type (he's 6'4" & still appears to be under 170 lbs, he is physically pushed around at the aau level) & his basketball skills (he's not quick enough to compete in the pac 12, his handle is average & his release point on 3 pointers is too low, it will be blocked at the high d1 level)
alec has not firmed up a 2017 prep school yet & it will be interesting to see if there are any new developments in his recruitment particularly with the 2017 class already including jemarl baker & juhwan harris-dyson
i wish alec hickman nothing but the best
