Friday Night Lights For Cal Commits Week 1
Jaron Keawe Sagapolutele – 2025 QB from Ewa Beach, HI. Sagapolutele and Campbell add another win to their early season with a dominating effort against Punahou, 49-17. Sagapolutele lit up the box score going 24-30, 323 passing yards, and 5 touchdowns along with 6 rushes for 60 yards. Sagapolutele gets a couple bye weeks until their next game against Farrington on 09/14.
Jae'on Young – 2025 ATH from Chatsworth, CA. Sierra Canyon had a rough outing against JSerra Catholic on Friday in a crushing defeat, 35-7. Young provided some sparks with 64 kick return yards, 2 tackles and a pass deflection. Young will be back in action on Friday 8/30 against Oaks Chrisitan.
Meyer Swinney – 2025 WR from Minneapolis, MN. Swinney and Edina play their first game 8/29 against Eagan.
Aiden Manutai – 2025 S from Kahuku, HI. Manutai stats could not be found in Kahuku's win over Konawaena 13-0 on Sunday 08/25. Manutai will be back in action Saturday August 31st against Waimea.
Jacob Houseworth – 2025 TE from Fortuna, CA. Fortuna will be in action on Friday 08/30 against Del Notre. Houseworth will be looking to improve on his stats from last year of 93 rushing attempts, 778 rushing yards, 1 touchdown and 60 receiving yards.
Kaden Cook – 2025 CB from Round Rock, TX. Cook and Stony Point start their season on Thursday 8/29. Cook had 43 tackles, 10 PBU’s, 168 coverage snaps, 16 targets, 0 touchdowns allowed, 3 catches allowed (28 yards) and will look to lock down the passing game this season.
Tre' Harrison – 2025 S from Gardena, CA. Serra suffered their first loss of the season in a heart breaker, 21-13 to Orange Lutheran. Harrison was very active in the game tallying 4 total tackles and a sack. Serra and Harrison will be back in action on 8/30 against Warren.
Ben Howard - 2025 OL from Lehi, UT. Howard and the Skyridge offense were humming on 8/24 as they dominated Liberty 41-26. Howard and the offense will look to keep it going Saturday 8/30 against Cherry Creek.
Anthony League – 2025 RB from Long Beach, CA. Millikan was blown out by Newbury Park on 8/24, 52-12. League’s final stats could not be found. Both League and Millikan will be looking to rebound and get a win over Carson on 8/29
Mike Klisiewicz – 2025 OL from Brentwood, CA. Klisiewicz and Liberty’s season starts on 8/30 against Frontier.
Ike Okafor – 2025 DE from Alief, TX. Okafor and Alief Hasting’s season starts on 8/30 against Jersey Village.
Ke'Breion Winston – 2025 LB from Lancaster, TX. Winston and Lancaster’s season starts on 08/31 against North Crowley
Lebron Williams – 2025 DE from Kahuku, HI. Williams recorded 2 tackles and 2 tackles for a loss in Kahuku’s win over Konawaena 13-0 on Sunday 08/25. Williams will be back in action Saturday August 31st against Waimea.
Beckham Barney – 2025 LB from Mesa, AZ. Barney and Mountain Views first game is on 8/30 against El Camino.
Carter Jones – 2025 LB from Irvine, CA. Jones was all over the field in Crean Lutheran’s convincing win over Mullen, 35-12. Jones accounted for 10 total tackles, 1 tackle for a loss, 3 qb hurries, and 2 receptions for 22 yards. Jones and Crean Lutheran looks to keep the wins going against St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy on 08/30
