Coleman, Sueing Score In Double Figures In Defeat
TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Two Golden Bears scored in double figures, but Arizona State pulled away early in the second half to top California 84-53 Thursday night at Wells Fargo Arena.
Arizona State (20-9, 8-9 Pac-12) gradually built at 10-point lead in the first half, then ran away from the Bears in the second with a series of dunks and layups to end a three-game losing streak.
The Sun Devils shot 51 percent and made 15 of 27 shots in the second half.
