Had you bothered to read the article, you would have been AWARE that 5-time Olympic Gold Medalist MISSY FRANKLIN chose to DECLINE being interviewed for this story. In other words, no comment from arguably the greatest swimmer in Cal history, who I might add chose to be coached by Dave Durden (and not McKeever) when she came back to train at CAL in 2016.
PS. Word travels fast in the world of an athlete. You would have to be terribly NAIVE to think that Cal swimmers who had been interviewed for this extensive article, werent talking to others about it before it was published.
