It's interesting - is there more cachet with the scholarship - like would certain players (like deserving walk ons) be just as happy to receive an equivalent NIL amount rather than be awarded a scholarship which might be more enticing to a high talent HS player, different reward strategies for someone who maybe has the ability to afford school without hardship?

That's too bad, we're going to miss KEO

look, one of the reasons the most negative bears on this board are that way is because they don't actually go to the games in person & unfortunately television don't show those truly special moments of brotherhood that brightly illuminate the magic of cal football

everett tole me on the field that when coach bloesch inserted him into a heavy run package that he wuz ready for that moment in the big game

when i introduced myself to johnson & tole him ima shocky & that sometimes he kinda look like big foot, everett surprised me by picking me up & giving me a bear hug (this week has been a very good week for hugs for the monster)

luv this guy & hoping coach bloesch yells his # again in the red zone against them bruins

kaleb is gonna get some real world experience about the dangers of doing crooked deals with unethical manipulators that will walk away from him in a second when he's seriously injured

when keo is 30 he's gonna be looking back wondering why he traded away a berkeley degree worth millions for a potential nil one time payday & a truck, literally every berkeley grad on the list above is gonna have a greater net worth than him

and if he returns to cali, when he starts interviewing/tryna do deals with berkeley grads, good luck with that ****

cal's monster class coaching staff: good luck to coach plough moving forward his career as a head coach at the academically elite uc davis, tim did a terrific job developing jack endries into a dangerous downfield catch & run target over the middle 3rd of the field...fully expect jack to be one of the top tight ends in 2024 in the inaugural season of the acc

this also means that coach wilcox don't need to follow his recent plan of naming coach bloesch & coach plough as co offensive coordinators with spav (and his wife) moving to waco

for the 1st time in the coach wilcox era cal football finally has an IDENTITY...we will relentlessly run the ******* football with all american jaydn ott behind CAL'S MONSTER OFFENSIVE LINE & when opposing teams start putting 8 in the box we will take the roof off the top with mi latino amigo fernando mendoza making deep strikes downfield to our tight rotation wide receiving room of jeremiah hunter, trond grizzell & my crazy azz brah taj davis (who needs to improve on the untimely drops that followed him all season) along with the explosive mavin anderson & tight end jack endries who have uniquely shown an ability to create separation from defenders

bottom line, justin can now move forward with my monster staff of mike bloesch as the new offensive coordinator, mike saffell (haas biz ad grad) as the offensive line coach & matthew cindric (haas biz ad grad) as the offensive line graduate assistant following in saffell's footsteps

all this uninformed & dumb azz speculation of talking to rolo & the other wilcox rolodex of worthless retreads that wanna implement new schemes in berkeley is pointless

we got our guys, we will pound for ground with high gpa & high character trench workers who tirelessly identify as CAL'S MONSTER OFFENSIVE LINE

51 & econ, there's a growing movement to replace the con artist with berkeley grad & director of football operations andrew mcgraw, the better question should be posed to greg richardson asking him why he's sitting on the sideline while knowlton steers the athletic department towards a catastrophic financial iceberg?

but no make no mistake about it, keo is as dumb (and unethical) as ******* rocks trading in a berkeley degree for $150k & a truck from washington...a berkeley degree is worth millions over a lifetime if one is financially inclined towards making money

cam, that's the million dollar question, imo serious consideration should be given to hiring a full time special teams coach & moving the in line blocking tight ends to the offensive line room & downfield receiving threats jack endries/ben marshall/marquis montgomery (will be switching positions from wr to te this spring) to the wide receiver room or something

there is also the possibility of coach bloesch hiring an experienced quarterback coach or a qb analyst like chase garbers to work full time with nando & ej along with the walk ons (belay brummell got upside)

keep in mind that an upside in all of this moving forward is that spav's contract stipulates that baylor gotta pay cal $800,000 for the breach of employment...let's make sure mike saffell as the new offensive line coach & hopefully matthew cindric joining the staff get a piece of that coin (plus a case of beef flavored ramens from costco)

ucla football is imploding in real time, chip kelly is as unlikeable as mark fox who wuz supported/extended by james arthur knowlton & the insiders at this site

agreed that if the tight end coaching position is offered that jeff faris is a proven developer/recruiter of high gpa talent...yeah maybe sirmon could take faris to shoneys or something to seal the deal
